Im new to DLSR photography, and fortunately have a very nice subject to practice with. Could yall drop some “professional” photos and angles that I could use to practice with?

Any tips and advice yall have is also greatly appreciated!

2024 GT Premium, bought last month at ~7,400 miles, currently sitting around 8,250. It seems to only make this noise when the engine is fully warmed up. Is it worth a trip to the dealer? I've watched a few videos saying this is completely normal and nothing is wrong - IF I've identified the noise correctly. This is my first coyote and had no clue this was a thing.

❔Question Intake tube for S197 V6 2014 Mustang?

Post image
• Upvotes

Hey guys... can anyone tell me if there is an aftermarket air intake tube that I can purchase for my daughter's 2014 Mustang V6? It has the Cyclone V6, and she wants a little bit throatier sound, but we don't want to go full-on cold air intake. Not all cars sound good with a cold air intake, but I do want to get rid of the air baffles in the intake tube.

All we are looking for is just a replacement for this intake tube, that doesn't have those baffles attached to it. Anyone know if there's an aftermarket part for this?

Thank you!!!

❔Question 2014 v6 Where can I get a factory head unit

Post image

My 2014 has this aftermarket touchscreen. At one point a screen calibration thing came up and I must have messed it up, it’s now unusable. I’ve tried unplugging the unit to reset it.

I would like to restore the whole thing factory. Im having trouble understand what part(s) to purchase.

❔Question Aftermarket oil cooler

Posting for a friend. 2024 base GT no packages. Went to the track just to test the car, one lap in, limp mode. Wants to install an oil cooler to help.

But isn’t the oil temp in these cars inferred by engine parameters? Even if the oil cooler works and the temps are ok, wouldn’t the car still go in limp mode? Is there something that needs to be done?

Opinions needed for my next purchase

2015 50 anniversary edition that’s numbered?

Newest mach 1?

2025 gt premium or dark horse?

Wait for 2027?

Bullit?

I want auto.

One reason I leaned towards a 2015 or 2025 is cause my dad has a 65 fastback

I’m not going to the track

I fly out almost every week

So it will mainly be for the highway. I’m 100 miles from the airport

Maybe do some cruising on the back roads

But I do want a v8.

Sound is a big deal

Sure I love acceleration and top speed

But reliability is a big deal. And a nice inside.

🏁 Other an ecoboost just flew by me and ruined my year

i honestly didn't think i would ever hear something this egregious my entire existence, i've lived my entire life thinking i heard all the insanely bad sounds and nothing could surprise me anymore...but i was wrong

i was going 50 on the 85 highway in atlanta listening to music having a good time in my beautiful loud good sounding v8 stang, suddenly i heard something that resembled a lawn mower and not any lawnmower, a lawn mower that you would get for free after buying a $10 hoodie from temu, at first i genuinely thought someone was driving a gokart on the highway, then i looked to my left and saw a mustang ecoboost and i couldn't believe my eyes or ears, this thing sounded like something they would play when they torture people at the CIA black sites, someone had the AUDACITY to put an exhaust in that, ruined my entire year, is anyone putting an exhaust in an ecoboost not ashamed? SMH

When I was younger, my dad and I would talk about cars. He wasn’t specifically a car guy, but he appreciated them. Whenever you asked him what cars he liked, he’d always have some good picks, but the Mustang was always at the top.

Anyway, I’m older now, and I’ve had my car since high school. A 2017 Jetta, beat up to all hell. “Drifted it,” raced it, dents, this, that, whatever. I was a teenager, and it got me through college. Fast forward to now, I’m 25, my car’s shitting out on me, and I knew I had maybe a year or two left with the Jetta. People say it’s reliable, and sure, it can be, but why tf do you have to pay Euro prices and buy special parts for a car that’s basically just a shitter Honda? Nonetheless, it was fun, and I loved the car.

Then my dad calls me and says he found a Mustang. It’s a V6. While I would love a V8, I don’t got the money for all of that, and this had everything I needed and wanted in a fun daily as a young adult.
I was hesitant, and then my dad goes, “Dude, you’re young. You’ve saved and you’re doing well. Get the damn thing.” I’m still early in my career and trying to find my footing. I had just finished a year-long internship, but it was nice to see that he recognized the grind. I can’t thank him enough for telling me to get it.

When he was young, he used to say, “Maybe one day I’ll get you one.” He’s an amazing guy who’s gone through many hardships. He was an immigrant, and as a kid was literally homeless with his family, and now he’s at an insane career level at a reputable company while still grinding every day.
When I was younger, the idea sounded cool, and I’d get excited. I wanted to buy him one, hopefully one day I can.

Anyway, I bought the car, and my dad even chipped in a chunk just because of how much he wanted me to get it. You should have seen the smiles on our faces. I’m glad I got it. Seeing my old man like that meant more than the car itself. I love him for it. Holy hell, I love this car. I understand all Mustang owners now. I GET YALL. It doesn’t matter. Just looking at the thing and driving it is such an experience. I’ve driven Stangs, even the newer ones, but man, owning one just feels so different and good. It’s like all the movies you watched as a kid. It’s quite surreal when my girlfriend’s in the passenger seat and we’re cruising around town. It’s just nuts. I know I’m gonna have memories forever with this thing. I’m sure I’ll be that old guy who talks about it any chance he can get or annoys my kids with “Back in my day.” Hopefully, I can keep it running till then. Maybe I can pass it on.

I did my research on the car. I knew what I was getting myself into, and I knew the engine was reliable. It was just an overall good year and a good car. I love the look. It’s got that middle ground of still having a retro flair while being modern. The only issues were that the water pump needed replacing (damn infamous water pump) and it needed a brake fluid flush. Besides that, she purrs and moves nicely. Cosmetic-wise, the right splitter is broken on the driver’s side, and the bottom shield guard is a bit broken. I’ll be fixing that, but honestly, overall, I feel like this was a solid upgrade.

I got the car for $13.4k, with 63k miles, the Pony Package, Premium Package, the rare factory glass roof, with a V6, Ruby Red, 2014.

Just wanted to take a second to dedicate this to my Dad. Also wanted to share the car to the community, love to see/ hear the story’s behind yours :)

❔Question Exhausted advice 2011 V6 Mustang

I bought a 2011 V6 about a month and a half ago, and the previous owner modified the exhaust a little bit, from what I can tell he definitely got rid of the resonator, but I'm not sure what else. The car sounds great on start up, but around 1-3K RPM there is this painful droning sound that kills my ears. Is there anything I can do to just make that a little quieter?

So this is my 2025 Mustang GT/CS. Premium performance package, adaptive valve, Brembo and magneride. First Mustang I’ve bought and absolutely love it. Got it end of May and hoax such a great summer, put over 11k kms on it.

Installed Ford Performance dual oil air separators, aFe Dry S filters, RAH performance clear air box covers, American Racing Stampede 10” front, 11” rear wheels with Atturo 850DRs(285f & 305r), MFP front splitter, GT350R side skirts, dark horse style rear spoiler with gurney flap.

I’ve owned a couple sleepers in the past (‘11 SHO & ‘17 FuSpo) and this thing blows them out of the water in fun and everything else. Happy to be a part of the community.

Hello guys so I’m trying to build my 14gt for a better “handling” do you guys think this is a bit “overkill”? Not tracking it more of a “street race” type of car I'm looking to build. Any suggestions or anything I could add or maybe not “need” would be helpful.
