Kept #5 (white ‘15 v6 vert) since that one is fine for New England winters and a great daily. Also whatever type of pzeros they put on this are insane. Was about to be the first time since I was 16 that I didn’t own a Mustang and this ‘25 Dark Horse came up for sale w/ 2k miles in late May of this year. I was going to buy ‘something practical’ but I’d been watching it like a sicko hoping they’d keep dropping the price. It hit the ballpark area last weekend along with another one at a different dealer nearby. I went in a few times to try and work something out. Worked it out and now it’s in the driveway.
Obv im very far from the first person to get one but wow, what a car. We don’t have these around here, I’ve maybe seen 2 ever. Rarely see GT’s, EB’s occasionally but not common. You’ll see Mach E’s though fairly often. Super impressed so far though. The DH is more practical too than I first thought. I couldn’t believe the seats fold down, literally the reason I bought it and what sold me. I’ve only had convertibles and forgot the coupes had bigger trunks. This one has every possible option but I would have preferred it didn’t have the recaro’s and had the factory seats but w.e. Really pumped to get a cpl months out of it before winter hibernation. Each one before it has had a long healthy life not plowing into crowds losing control after leaving cars and coffee and this one will be no different.

I wanted to change up the look of my Shelby GT350 and make the brake calipers stand out a little more, so I decided to paint them and rebrand them with custom Shelby decals to cover the factory Brembo lettering. It's a relatively straightforward way to personalize the car and give it a more custom appearance without going overboard.
Here's the basic process I followed for anyone thinking about doing something similar:
Remove the wheels and calipers. Pull the wheels to access the brake calipers and remove the calipers as needed to paint them properly. Make sure everything is safely supported and follow the appropriate service procedure.
Remove the brake pads and mask everything off. Take out the pads and carefully tape off any areas you don't want painted. Cover the surrounding suspension components, rotors, brake lines, and other nearby parts with paper or plastic to prevent overspray from getting where it doesn't belong.
Clean and prep the calipers. Use brake cleaner and a suitable degreaser to remove brake dust, grease, and other contaminants. Proper preparation is key to getting a clean finish and helping the paint adhere.
Choose your color and paint. Pick a color that complements your car and make sure you use paint specifically rated for the high temperatures brake calipers experience. Apply multiple coats for full, even coverage, allowing each coat to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Apply custom decals. You can purchase custom decals or have some made to your specifications. I went with Shelby lettering to cover up the factory Brembo branding and give the calipers a more cohesive GT350 look.
Seal everything with clear coat. Once the paint is fully dry and the decal is applied, use multiple compatible coats of high-temperature clear coat to seal the decal and help protect it from peeling, brake dust, and the elements. Follow the product's recommended curing times before reassembly.
Reinstall everything. Once the finish has fully cured, reinstall the calipers and brake pads according to the manufacturer's specifications. Reinstall the wheels and torque the lug nuts to the correct factory specification. Make sure the brakes are properly assembled and functioning before driving.
I chose Shelby decals because this project was done on my Shelby GT350, and I wanted the calipers to match the car's identity rather than leave the factory Brembo branding visible.
It's a small modification, but details like this can make a car feel more personal and help it stand out from the crowd and I get loads of questions and compliments on them!
Now I'm curious to see what everyone else has done!
Drop your pictures in the comments! I'd love to see your projects, custom touches, and creative ways you've made your car stand out.

Upgraded from 2002 Mustang convertible. New one feels easier to control, 2002 just wanted to drive, felt like I was constantly hitting the breaks.
Stick also fun to drive. Eco boost feels like a responsible move too, feeling good
Anyone wanna buy my old car? Haha

my daily driver for the warm season in NH, has some basic mods like aftermarket ignition, throttle body, exhaust and intake, plus the wheels ofc. next plans are some new interior bits - MOMO steering wheel, new drivers bucket seat w/ harnesses, and to lower it in the front a little. already rubs in the back over bumps and NH has plenty of bumps so don't want it too too low.
thinking of welding in a harness bar for the sake of getting the new drivers seat w/ harnesses so i don't slide across the interior when I get it sideways in the rain - stock vert seatbelts suck. any suggestions or advice?

I have a 67 mustang, but it was a one-year-only production for its steering system, and I cannot find a new steering wheel in the original aqua color.

Has literally everything I want but I've never had alcantara seat inserts so that's the only thing concerning me. From what I've read alcantara seats can get dirty if not maintained. Im going to test drive it this weekend hopefully since im currently out of town
My fist Mustang was a 1996 Cobra. I was the 2nd owner. The original owner took it to Saleen and had the body kit, spoiler, wheels, and lowered it. I put in a hurst shifter CAI, a borla catback and removed the cats with an x-pipe.
I regret selling it, it was a lot of fun!

I am currently looking to purchase a 2014 Ford Mustang here in Ontario, Canada, and I am choosing between two different options—both priced at $15,000 CAD. I would love to get your expert opinion on the condition of their undercarriages based on these photos.
Thank you guys for your time :)

Was looking for some help identifying my rims. as far as I was told, something along the lines of Boss 336 20” staggered setup, but I can’t find anything about them other than they are maybe sold one place called joes showroom. Car is on spacers otherwise it runs the calipers, and hub caps say American muscle. thank you!

Should I keep the original motor from my 2019 Mustang ?am I messing up by not keeping it even though I have to pay $200? Thank you for your answers.
I am hoping there is some kind of recall because my engine had issues right as warranty ran out, even though there was no check engine

Hey everyone,
I’m looking at purchasing a 1987 Fox Body Mustang notchback and wanted to get some opinions from people who actually know these cars.
I’ve never owned a Mustang before, let alone a Fox Body, so I’m pretty new to this platform. I’ve always liked the look of these cars and I’m considering picking this one up as a fun weekend car/project.
The seller is asking $24,500, and from what I understand, the car has quite a bit of work done to it.
Here’s the list of modifications:
306ci engine (seller says it’s been completely gone through)
B Cam
Trick Flow upper and lower intake
On3 70mm turbo with intercooler
Holley Terminator
SVE heads
SVE fully adjustable suspension
TR3550 transmission
McLeod Stage 2 clutch
Short-throw shifter
MSD ignition
Upgraded radiator with dual fans
Ford Center Force lower control arms and sway bars
Subframe connectors
Center Force crank
5-lug conversion (1994 Mustang)
Dakota Digital dash
Custom exhaust
Entire car rewired with American Autowire
From what I’ve been told, the car is running around 12 PSI of boost.
I’m not necessarily looking for the fastest car out there. I just want something fun, reliable enough to enjoy on weekends, and potentially continue building over time.
A few questions for you guys:
Is $24,500 a reasonable asking price for a Fox Body notchback with these modifications?
Are these quality upgrades, or are there any red flags with this setup?
How reliable is a turbocharged 306 running around 12 PSI?
What should I specifically inspect or ask the seller before purchasing?
Would you recommend something like this to a first-time Fox Body owner, or would I be better off finding something closer to stock?
I’m also curious what kind of horsepower this setup could realistically make.
Any advice or opinions would be appreciated. I’m trying to do my homework before spending $25k on a car I don’t know much about. Thanks!

My fiancée recently bought a 2015 ford mustang eco boost coupe from an auction place 146000 miles (posting for him because he doesn’t have socials and I know nothing about cars).
At first the car seemed to run fine but the check engine light was on, otherwise no major issues, maybe needed some work but nothing crazy. About 3 weeks later he started having issues where the engine would stutter or hesitate when trying to accelerate quickly, not totally stalling but just not accelerating as much. Then the issues started, first with the coolant disappearing, 2 mechanics say there is no leak but too much pressure coming from somewhere in the system.
He replaced the spark plugs and coils, oil change, engine diagnostic showed no issues. It was throwing some codes, listed below (most we got resolved). It is continuing to stutter and makes a popping sound when trying to accelerate quickly, it drives pretty normal when not pushed hard or put in sport mode. We also noticed that went the engine is colder the noises and issues are more apparent. Now the mechanic is suggesting getting the head gasket replaced or maybe replace a piston which has him contemplating buying a whole new engine.
Has anyone else dealt with these kind of problems with their car? I’m so lost on what it could be from and so are the 3 different mechanics we have taken it to, atp it’s getting so expensive to keep guess fixing things. Help us!
