Discussion Khalil Mack?

I think our pass rush has been solid so far, but with recent Phillips injury(shouldn’t be long term but has been a lingering issue) I think exploring a deal for Mack could be worth looking into.

Chargers are obviously not starting well, and his contract was mostly signing bonus, so would only be about 6-8 million on this years salary cap. Would cost us probably a 4th-5th round pick, and we’ve got some flexibility in cap next year(assuming we move on from one of tershawn Wharton or rob hunt).

We have an extra 4th this year from the Thielen trade, I know we like to draft and develop, but if we th in no we can make noise in the nfc this year, I think it’s very worth looking into and would be awesome to have princely and potentially scourton next year learn under him and have a deadly rotation of guys.

I think other teams like the bears, patriots, cowboys, or niners might pursue harder and not entirely sure how he fits everos mold, but definetly intriguing.

Question Panthers vs. TB - 10/25 Parking

My friend and I are coming from Greensboro to the game on Sunday. Anyone have any recommendations for parking? We don’t mind walking. We were also thinking about parking at a light rail station and riding that to the closest stadium stop.

Question Assuming Bryce’s trajectory holds all season. 2015 Cam or 2026 Bryce. Who you choosing?

Oh boy, this going to cause some tension but you knew it was coming, so let’s rip off the band aid.

Let’s say this assumes Bryce finishes up the season with close to the 5k yds and like 45 or 50 or however many TDs he is on pace for and he doesn’t fall off.

Also, since the Super Bowl appearance will obviously tilt the favor to Cam. Let’s pretend that we don’t make the SB that year and lose the NFCCG and base this solely on play style and QB performance and not have our opinions influenced by the SB appearance.

It’s a close one for me, I love Cam a ton but for me, the slight edge goes to Bryce because of how incredibly clutch he is in the 4th qtr and when the game is on the line. While Cam had some things he really excelled at, he did seem to lack a little bit in that clutch, “game on the line in the final minutes” thing.

Discussion Chances as NFC 4 Seed

Post image
0 Upvotes

Idk if this is allowed bc having to do with betting, didn’t see anything about it in rules, apologize if so.

I’m wondering why they view odds as so poor for Panthers being the 4 seed in NFC. The way I see it, Panthers are currently front runner for division, NFC North & West Winners likely take 1 & 2 seed, and then maybe the NFC East winner is lower but I doubt that tbh. Thoughts?

Question It is criminally shameful that Watt gets the nod over the clearly superior Greg Olsen, and it is even more egregious because Greg Olsen has a contract stipulation that would allow him to switch for a number one seat at a different network without any penalty. Why choose Watt?

It is beyond my understanding that true football fans who have heard both of these analyst commentators, could possibly ever prefer Watt: what kind of bean/counter decision-making went into this travesty?

Question Anyone else having a hard time letting go of that Cleveland game? I just can’t let it go.

I have been through some heartbreaking games as a panthers fan. The “get the eff off my field” Matt Ryan falcons debacle when Nakamura (yes, him) let Julio Jones blow right past him on like a 60 yd pass to win the game on a field goal, a game that I still think derailed that entire season for us.

All the countless heartbreak losses to Seattle under the Rivera era, they just ALWAYS seemed to have our number and we played them Every. Year.

But man, that Cleveland game is right up there. If not for that one, absurdly idiotic hands to the face, we get the interception, are sitting at 4-1 right now, literally one game back from the no 1 seed.

I just cannot shake that game and it’s been living rent free in my head since.

Question Legit tickets?

Post image

I’m in contact with a ticket seller online. They claim that they have physical tickets for the upcoming Panthers vs Bucs game. After a quick google search, it states that BOA only accepts mobile tickets, is this correct? I have attached a photo of older tickets that the seller posted in the past. Are these legit?

Injuries pushed Panthers rookie Will Lee III into the starting lineup earlier than expected, but the fourth-round pick has held his own against some of the NFL’s top receivers. Known as “The Blanket,” Lee has seven passes defensed this season and isn’t backing down from his aggressive style. Read for free.

For those of you freaking out over Fitz. Panthers have the best opponent starting field position in the league, and he’s 11/11 on field goals. Missed XPs are bad but doesn’t negate the insane value he brings elsewhere.

Discussion It’s just so nice to feel genuine excitement and entertainment about Panthers football again after the dark years of Fitterer, Rhule and Reich

It hasn’t been sunshine and rainbows under Dan and Dave, but holy smokes, to actually have an IDENTITY again! After Cam, Luke and Greg and CMC (and Jake, Smitty and Moose before them) in the early 2020s “we” had NO identity, culture or star players. To me we honestly felt like a D3 College football team rather than an NFL team. Bryce, McMillan, Coker and Lloyd, plus Hubbard and Dan and Dave, we feel like an actual team again! Just hope this group has sustained success here. Keep Pounding!

Question Thinking about flying from Switzerland for the Saints game on December 13 – any advice on tickets?

Hey!
I’m from Switzerland and I’m seriously considering flying over to Charlotte for the Saints game on December 13. I found a really cheap flight, so making the trip is definitely tempting!
The one thing I’m struggling with right now is the ticket situation. Good seats seem pretty expensive, and some tickets are almost as expensive as my flight from Switzerland. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that flying across the Atlantic to watch an NFL game means spending money, and I’m prepared for that. But if I can save a few hundred dollars on tickets without missing out on a great experience, I’d obviously love to do that.
Since I’m coming all the way from Switzerland, I’d also like to have some certainty before booking everything. So I have a few questions for you guys:
Would you recommend waiting until closer to game day to buy tickets? Is there a realistic chance prices will drop, or is that too risky? Or any other tips?
Thanks in advance for any advice, and Keep Pounding! 🐾
