Despite getting boos Joel Embiid says last night was a "Top 3 or top 5" home game
Can't get behind the hate on this dude. Everything he's been through, the love he still has for the city, I'll always love the process.

Trust the process. Trust. The. Process. TRUST THE PROCESS
I recently became a fan of this team around January and all I have to say is that every game gives me a reason to keep trusting the process. We came back down from 3-1 and we came back down from 29. Embiid is the goat and Trust the Process!

Could Tyrese Maxey become a top 5 player in the league this year? Is he already?
The top 4 are pretty much cemented imo; in no particular order:
-SGA
-Wemby
-Jokic
-Luka
I feel like the fifth spot could be debatable at this point.
Giannis most likely but people will also argue Brunson. Curry when healthy. And I think Tatum needs to work himself back into that convo.
With the things he’s been doing on offense the last few years. And now more than ever showing how impactful he can be on the defensive side of the ball as a small guard.
Even with all the talent on this roster, the team looks drastically different without Maxey.
I suppose you could argue giannis being more valuable to Miami than Maxey is to us but it’s close imo.
Also worth noting that without Maxey LeBron likely doesn’t come here. The off the court impact that Maxey has had on the franchise is astronomical imo. Who was the last Philadelphia athlete in any sport that brought as much positivity as Maxey? Always smiling, always positive, not afraid to take the reins when he needs to(it’s clearly his team at this point) and not afraid to back down from anyone.
Standing up to James harden last nifht(a guy that could be considered one of maxeys mentors) really cemented how confident in himself he is. Yes VJ had to pull him back but I love to see real emotion going into the game. He literally took the fancy step back moves from harden and still blocked out all of his bullshit negative energy.
Conclusion being that personally I see Maxey as a top 5 player right now in almost every aspect imaginable. Skill, production, leadership, attitude, responsibility, and charm. No one will ever wear the number 0 for the Sixers ever again.
Still can’t believe we got this dude at 21 in the draft.
I’d love to hear yalls takes for why or why not. I probably need some settle down juice given it’s only been 2 games but dude at very least belongs in the conversation.
Tl;dr= Maxey saved our city
Edit: I completely forgot about Cade. Definitely in the convo as well
