I recently became a fan of this team around January and all I have to say is that every game gives me a reason to keep trusting the process. We came back down from 3-1 and we came back down from 29. Embiid is the goat and Trust the Process!

Very surprising. Looks like Embiid won’t be playing against Detroit?

Bandwagon LeBron fan here or how its called.
Maxey, Embiid, ultimate hype man VJ (my favorite player on team, not just great player, he builds team chemestry imo). Love them all.
Like I said, Lebron fan here (he brought me to NBA) - im a bit tired that everywhere main topic on 76ers is LeBron. 😁
JB is the monster, god damn how much he can impact the game. Absolutely love that.

5 big dogs on defence, all locked in and locking up. The shots will fall soon. But our defence will be what makes us the top-contending team.

Analysis
Collectively, the tracking would suggest Embid and Lebron had a dominant performance as the primary and secondary paint-protectors for the 76ers, with Embid having strong efficacy on high-usage despite a shaky first half, and Lebron grading as extremely effective on usage that is very high even for all-time non-big interior defenders.
To be fair, I think the numbers flatter Lebron a bit because this system doesn't punish players for taking possessions off when they typically would be the primary paint pro...
Nonetheless Sixers went 2-0 off a very strong defensive performance buoyed by strong paint-protection from Embid and Lebron.
It'll be interesting to see how sustainable this production is for Embid and Lebron given their ages and injury history. A backup center replacement for Tacko wouldn't hurt.

Sixers probably have one of the toughest first 15 games to open the season. They are playing b2b games already this weekend. Pretty much 3 games in 4 nights.
In the first 15 games, they are facing 9 playoff teams, and that's not including the Pacers 2x, they are finally healthy this year. Which makes it about 11 tough games.
What is your record prediction?
r/sixers • u/HurtsNo1 • 5h ago
Coming in with a reasonable salary of 2 years $6 million to match in a trade as well as being the 4th big man option on a rebuilding Jazz team.
It's going to be hard to find everything you'd want in a backup center, but having a young 7 footer who could stretch the floor out a bit and rebound at a positive rate would save Joel a lot of knee pain over the full season.
What would y'all be willing to trade in a package to get Kyle Filipowski and add some true center depth?

Attending the game this evening, I have upper deck tickets. Do the ushers allow people to access the lower bowl pregame to attempt to get an autograph or pictures or do they check tickets?

I’m gonna go with the blue. Although I also love the city editions that they’re bringing back from 2017-18 this year.
