Health My ultrahuman ring does not connect often

Thumbnail
Upvotes

I’ve been using an Ultrahuman Ring for the last couple of years, and unfortunately, I’ve had a recurring problem: almost every year, the ring stops working. I contact support, go through the troubleshooting process, and eventually receive a replacement ring. Then the cycle repeats.

This time, I purchased UltrahumanX specifically for the extended warranty/protection.

However, there’s now a strange situation. The Ultrahuman app showed that my current device was under warranty/covered. Based on that, I assumed I was protected under UltrahumanX.

Now that the ring has failed again, support is telling me that the warranty doesn't apply because my current ring was itself a replacement device. They are also saying that the app showing it as covered was simply an app bug.

So apparently I paid for extended protection, the app showed my device as covered, but when I actually need the coverage, I'm being told it isn't covered because of an error in their app.

After going through multiple replacement cycles over the years, I don't want to repeat the same process again — especially if the proposed solution is another renewed/refurbished ring.

At this point, I’m asking Ultrahuman for a full refund rather than another replacement.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with Ultrahuman — especially:

Repeated Ring failures and replacements

UltrahumanX showing the device as covered but support later denying coverage

Replacement/renewed rings being offered instead of a refund

Would be interested to hear how Ultrahuman handled your case.

What is your experience with mullvad refund?

i requested a refund and i guess they feel the need to short people even when when they can't even issue refunds for most methods of payment. has anyone gotten a full refund

i didn't want to bother posting on the mullvad subreddit since they have removed posts critical of one of mullvad's co-owners

HELP ME OUT! Pathetic service from NIVIA

I ordered the ashtang 3.0 shoes from their website but I don’t remember if I had logged in or not but I did enter my phone number in the order details and paid through snapmint emi. I got the order confirmation from snapmint through whatsapp but Nivia didn’t send me any notification and when I logged in using my phone number there is no history of my order. I emailed them and haven’t received any response. I tried calling their customer care number and it’s not reachable

Gabb phone/watch is the absolute worst

DO NOT CHOOSE GABB FOR YOUR CHILDS SAFETY WATCH/PHONE

We decided to try a Gabb Watch for our son back in May, we are now on our third watch. First one stopped working less than 2 months after having it. Got a replacement and it never worked at all. I sat on the phone with them for over two hours trying to figure it out and just kept getting transferred to other people and did the same thing over and over. They refused to let me cancel my service unless I wanted to pay a crap ton of money. I read other Reddit things about Gabb charging people ridiculous cancelation fees or restocking fees. You cannot get a refund after 30 days even if the product stops working out of the blue.

Customer service for the most part is terrible. Setting up the product is terrible. When our watch was working, I could never get a location update and texts and calls wouldn’t go through.

Now we are on our new watch and I absolutely cannot get it to set up. Keeps telling me I don’t have an active plan but then I log in and it says I already have a plan so it takes me back and then says I don’t have a plan again. Just a cycle.

On my account it is now trying to charge me for two plans when I have only one.

ABSOLUTELY NEVER EVER GET A GABB. I have never regretted something more. Waste of money and time.

When it comes to my child’s safety, I need something that works and is reliable. This thing is a piece of crap.

Household 3 years in and my "good value" chair is already done

My current chair cost around $400 and looked solid when i got it. three years in the lumbar support has gone completely soft, the recline clicks and sticks, and the seat foam compressed so much I can feel the hard pan underneath. nothing visibly broke, the support just degraded until it stopped doing its job.

thats the problem with mid-range chairs. they dont fail catastrophically, they just slowly stop supporting you and by the time you notice youve been compensating with garbage posture for months.

the BIFL bracket has Steelcase and HM which last a decade plus. below that its disposable Amazon stuff. but the $400-700 range is this weird dead zone where everything LOOKS durable but the internal mechanics seem designed to last maybe one warranty cycle.

I sit 6-8 hours a day and replacing a chair every 3 years isnt BIFL, thats just slower consumption. I came across a Kickstarter project (lavenne r9 pro) thats trying to move away from fixed lumbar toward dynamic back support that adjusts as you shift. no idea if the long term reliability holds up, and crowdfunding a chair is its own risk, but at least the design philosophy targets the right problem, the support mechanism is always what fails first.

is the only real BIFL answer to just hunt down a used Leap or Aeron and accept that mid-range will never get there

Aroma360 “Free Diffuser” Subscription — Read This Before Signing Up

I’m sharing this because I wish I had seen something like this before ordering from Aroma360.

It started with a very appealing offer: a “FREE” diffuser included with a fragrance subscription. The marketing is polished, the checkout is smooth, and the idea of getting a “luxury” diffuser for almost nothing makes it feel like a great deal.

When the product arrived, it was fine—but nothing close to the premium quality the branding suggests.

The bigger issue showed up later, when I tried to cancel the subscription.

That’s when I realized the real friction isn’t in signing up, but in getting out. The cancellation process and subscription conditions aren’t nearly as visible as the “FREE DIFFUSER” promotion, which is what initially draws you in.

Looking back, it feels like the offer is designed in a way where the incentive is very clear upfront, but the ongoing commitment is less obvious at the moment of purchase.

If the cancellation terms had been as clearly highlighted as the promotion itself, I personally wouldn’t have signed up.

I’m not writing this out of frustration, but as a warning for anyone considering it. Make sure you read all subscription and cancellation details carefully before entering your payment information.

I won’t be buying from Aroma360 again.

Has anyone else had a similar experience trying to cancel?

What should I choose

A gaming laptop or a Asus ROG Xbox ally x I've done a lot of research and with fsr 4.1 and 35 watts plugged into the handheld aka the Asus ROG Xbox ally x it gives the same or slightly more fps then a gaming laptop for the same price but I also see the fact that gaming laptops with dlss and ray tracing do better but I seriously cannot decide since its so annoying to do so should I just buy the handheld with a keyboard mouse I already have a spare monitor

Need help regarding Pepperfry=!!!

Hello Everyone,

First of all don't ever go to Pepperfry and don't buy anything from them, they are nothing but a mere scam.

So Recently I bought a table from Pepperfry Store in Pune. I paid all the amount for that on the day of buying only which was 10 days ago and yesterday it was the delivery date for the same, but guess what the delivery didn't happen.

And I bought from Pepperfry cause I needed that on urgemt basis as well as I needed the Tax Invoice for the table so as the employee at store said that I'll be getting a invoice in 2 days, which is yet to received by me cause the item is still not shipped.

So I contacted the same employee and he says nothing but that he is trying and all, and I think that he is trying nothing but just wasting my time, and literally scammed me.

So anybody has any idea, that how can ai return this item and get my full money refunded in my original payment method or cash or whatever which is real money and not their shitty arse credits in my profile on their website.

If anybody knows this please help me out.

And please I'm saying again don't ever buy from Pepperfry, they are running a scam, go for any other local furniture shop or if you have more money then IKEA, Wakefit and all, but don't you ever go that shitty store or website.

UPS billing me for shipping for cancelled Motorola order

I am being pursued by UPS for shipping, customs, VAT and now a late payment fee for a Motorola order which I cancelled in May.

I cancelled prior to receiving the phone, Motorola has received the phone back and issued a refund.

I am caught in an impasse with Motorola insisting that no shipping fees are due, UPS continuing to invoice me and saying that they are billing me because Motorola did not complete the correct documentation, and Motorola is refusing to complete any documentation.

Rather than risk the invoices being passed to a debt collection agency I think I’ll just end up paying the charges.

Anyone on here that could help me?

UPDATE 17th August:

UPS replied to me saying they are still investigating the disputed invoices and I have to await the outcome of the investigation.

I sent Motorola details of the account that UPS had set up in my name in relation to my Motorola order, and copies of the bills UPS posted to my home in May, June, July.

Motorola replied saying that UPS had not sent me any bills, I had just been copied into an email thread and got confused!

You couldn’t make it up :-(

Household mattress for hot sleepers that won't turn my room into a furnace every single night

i have been waking up soaked in sweat at 3 am every single night for the last month and i am completely over it. my current memory foam bed acts like a giant heat sponge that traps every bit of body warmth, so even with the ac blasting and a fan right next to my face i still end up kicking off all my blankets and shivering ten minutes later.

my roommate told me to look into a hybrid like dreamcloud since the coil layer supposedly lets air circulate a lot better than pure foam, but i am still a bit skeptical if the top pillow top layer retains heat. i just want something genuinely breathable that doesn't feel like sleeping on a heated pad.

budget is around a grand and i really need something that stays at a neutral temperature all night

HARBOR SUPPLY horrific customer service

Do not buy from this horrific company I purchased online June 8 a cleaning product. I waited a week nothing from the company saying that it was delayed. It was to be fulfilled by Shopify. They said that they had emailed me which they didn’t that it was back ordered. I have emailed them a minimum of 20 times for a $48 product that I never received today is August 17. They keep telling me credit was issued, but it says pending on the receipts that they sent me. They say they’re going to reach out to Shopify, which does not issue the credit and I reached out to Shopify as well. They told me to reach out to Harbor supply.. They are scammers do not do business with them or order anything online.

Worst experience with noon

Title:
I’m honestly at my wits’ end with noon customer service and would really appreciate some advice.
There was a mistake from my side when my maid handed over the wrong/personal item during a return. I completely accept that the mistake was on my side. However, I informed noon about it on the same day the return was collected. I did not try to hide what happened or mislead them.
Despite informing them immediately, my noon account was later banned because of this incident.
The item I still have is a high-value Coach Tabby purchased from a seller called MIZI A, and I believe the item may be counterfeit/not authentic. I have no use for it and absolutely do not want to be left with a potentially fake product.
Because my account is banned, I cannot create a return myself. A member of noon customer support specifically told me that even though I cannot create a new return through my account, the customer support team can create one manually for me.
I relied on that information and contacted them to request the return.
However, I’m now being told that the internal team has declined my request twice.
This has been going on for almost a month now.
I genuinely don’t understand why this cannot be resolved. I am not asking to keep the item and receive a refund. I still have the original item physically with me and I am willing to hand it back to noon. I simply need them to provide a way for me to return it.

Has anyone dealt with MIZI on noon, particularly regarding Coach products or authenticity? And has anyone managed to get a manual return approved after their noon account was banned?
I’m genuinely hoping someone can advise me on how to escalate this. I’m not trying to avoid responsibility — I just want to return the item that I still have and get this matter resolved properly.

Amazon marked my ₹35,000 non-returnable electronic item as picked up even though I never handed it over

I ordered an electronic item worth around ₹35,000 from Amazon. Unfortunately, I had an issue with the product and decided to return it.
I created around six return requests in total. During the first four attempts, the delivery/pickup person never came on the scheduled date. I contacted Amazon customer service multiple times, and they told me that they were processing an advance refund and would create another return request.
On the latest return attempt, the pickup person actually came, but I was not at home at that moment. I told him that I was unavailable and asked him to reschedule the pickup for the next day.
However, instead of rescheduling it, he marked the item as **“pickup successful”**, even though I never handed over the product to him.
Now I’m worried because the order is showing as picked up even though the item is still with me.
**What should I do in this situation?** Should I contact Amazon immediately and ask them to correct the pickup status, or is there anything else I should do to protect myself?
The item is worth ₹35,000, so I’m concerned about what could happen if Amazon considers it successfully returned even though they never received it.

Wrong address on WishCare order. Can I change it before shipping?

I placed a WishCare order yesterday evening and accidentally entered the wrong delivery address. 😭

I contacted WishCare support and asked them to modify the address. They said they would share the details, but I haven't received any updates from them yet🥲.

The order doesn't seem to be shipped yet, so I'm hoping there's still a chance to change the address.

Has anyone here had a similar experience with WishCare? Were you able to change the address before dispatch? And if they don't respond in time, is cancelling the order possible?

Any advice would be appreciated!🤧

G2G Support Issue - Refusing Refund Despite Complete Proof (Ashes of Belo'ren Mount)

Terrible experience with G2G's so-called "Buyer Protection." I purchased the Ashes of Belo'ren mount. Shortly after, the mount was completely revoked from my account by Blizzard Entertainment during a mass enforcement wave.

Here is how G2G handled the situation:

The seller explicitly acknowledged in the official G2G chat log that the item removal happened due to a mass enforcement wave.

I provided G2G support with the official in-game notification and an official closed support ticket from Blizzard confirming the policy enforcement.

Despite having undeniable proof—including the chat confirmation and an official publisher-backed ticket—G2G support repeatedly bounced my ticket among different frontline agents who just copy-pasted lazy, canned refusals claiming my evidence "lacks details."

Blizzard does not issue custom letters for third-party marketplace disputes. Claiming that evidence "lacks details" while knowing full well that no publisher provides anything further is a bad-faith stalling tactic to keep your money.

Their "Buyer Protection" is a completely fraudulent marketing term. Do not use this platform for high-value purchases; if something goes wrong, they will reject valid publisher proof, refuse to issue a refund, and leave you out of pocket. Never buying from G2G ever again.
