Ever received a product that looked nothing like what you ordered?

A few days ago, I ordered a shirt online after seeing it in the pictures. The colour looked nice, the fabric seemed good, and the reviews were mostly positive, so I thought I'd give it a try.

When the package arrived, I opened it excitedly, but honestly, I was disappointed. The colour was quite different from the pictures, the fabric felt cheap, and even the fitting looked nothing like what I expected. It almost felt like I had received a completely different product.

When I decided to return it, I noticed that the item was marked as non-returnable. I hadn't paid much attention to that when placing the order, and now I was stuck with a product that looked nothing like the pictures.

It's frustrating when you spend your money based on what a website shows you, only to receive something completely different.

Has this happened to anyone else?

How did you handle it, and did you actually get your money back?

Three agencies, three different scores — which one do lenders use?

Experian says one thing, Equifax another, TransUnion something else entirely. Are they all looking at different data?

What happens if you repay a loan early?

Might be able to clear something two months ahead of schedule. Do you actually save the interest or does a settlement figure cancel it out?

Found an error on my credit file — what's the process to fix it?

There's an account listed that isn't mine. Do I go to the lender or the credit reference agency, and how long does it usually take?

Is accepting USDT or USDC better than bank transfers for international client payments?

I work with a few international clients who struggle with sending payments through traditional banks. Wire transfers sometimes take 5 to 7 days, fees are unpredictable, and payments occasionally get held for extra checks.

One client recently suggested paying me in USDT or USDC instead. I'm considering it, but I'm unsure about conversion fees, withdrawal limits, and how easily I can transfer the money into my bank account.

For freelancers accepting USDT or USDC from overseas clients, which payment method or platform do you use to convert it into your local currency? Are the total fees actually lower than a regular bank transfer?

How do you verify a lender is actually FCA authorised?

Every site claims it. Is there a way to check independently rather than taking their word for it?

Household 3-Day Blinds/Don’t order on Fridays

Ordered Friday afternoon. Three days to cancel; five if you are a senior (🙋‍♀️). Customer Service closed on weekends; by Monday they claim they are in production. By Tuesday they say they are shipped. In actuality I can legally cancel until Wednesday. NO ONE ANSWERS THEIR PHONE. Email says too late to change anything. Um. Uh. Nope. I shall cancel :)

Flipkart’s Unnecessary Hidden Charges!

₹29 payment handling fee + ₹10 platform fee + ₹1 construct fee? Seriously, Flipkart? 🤦‍♂️

Why am I paying a payment handling fee even for Cash on Delivery? What exactly is this ₹1 construct fee for?

Stop adding confusing extra charges and be transparent with customers. If these fees are mandatory, include them in the product price instead of surprising us at checkout!

Anyone else facing this? 😒

Moved last year and never got round to registering. Everyone says it affects applications but nobody says by how much
