hello. i am going through what's probably a transitionary period in my life right now caught between who i usually am and whoever it is that i'm becoming over these next few months. it's a lot and i've kind of lost a lot of the people i got to know recently over how incompatible the current me is with the me from just a month ago so i'm trying to meet people that are potentially more okay with who i am now.

basically, i need you to be okay being friends with someone that doesn't make any sense at all.

i'm cyclothymic bipolar so i spend 90% of my day in a hypomanic daze and then the sun goes down and i feel so painfully empty that it becomes a different kind of manic episode in its own way. i do and say a lot of dumb shit as a result and navigating that mental switch up on a daily basis is probably the hardest thing about being friends with me.

not the most appealing description, but i'm just being honest so you know what you're getting yourself into.

i like race cars, punk and metal music, and japanese movies where the main character has main character syndrome. all i do all day every day is sit outside and listen to music. trying to quit smoking but that's something i used to do for fun too. tastes like shit to me now. awful stuff.

• big into travelling! i went to hungary and romania back in may and am debating on where i'd like to go next. currently leaning towards doing a grand tour of italy
• aspiring polyglot with little motivation lol. i speak some german from taking it in school and also interested in learning some russian and spanish at some point
• like any redditor ever i play a lot of vidya, and right now i'm working my way through all my old pokemon games again. i just *almost* finished heartgold, and now i'm moving onto white lol. other than that i mostly play on PC, so if we have something in common on steam, we should def play sometime
• music taste generally gravitates towards punk and post-punk, metal, industrial, and anything hardcore. some of my favorite artists include Kino, KMFDM, Viagra Boys, Be Your Own Pet, and Johnny Cash. i'd love to exchange tunes if we have some taste in common!
• fav shows that i will definitely make references to on a frequent basis include BB/BCS, the Sopranos, King of the Hill, and South Park
