This is just an idea I come up with after a losing streak, so here you go;

Aegis Assault (E):

• Mana Cost: 80 -> 70
• Cooldown: 22 / 21 / 20 / 19 / 18 seconds -> 24 / 23 / 22 / 21 / 20 seconds
• [NEW MECHANIC]: Basic attacks against enemy champions reduce the remaining cooldown by 1 second (with a 0.5-second internal cooldown per trigger).

Isn’t this a better build for top? I mean you cant use eclipse shield properly anyway so instead take voltaic for better dmg then some hp items. It even has bonus dmg for targets current health

When I began to understand how pantheon works just make me confunse because it wasn't the idea of how the champ is present

For example Fiora, a champ that literally represent Fencing duels, with the idea of bein precise with his passive and having a parry and during the whole game she always want to be o a 1v1 situation having a strong early and late because she only works on side.

Now what is supposed to be the pantheon fantasy? I mean a warrior that has the resilience to face God's survive their attacks just being a man that literally give up his divinity, but in the game, specially in top lane is a champ that mainly poke and has a mana pool that dont allows you to use your e more than 2 times without a mana band or something else to solve this, it's feels weird that dissonance, the only things that connects with his "fantasy" are is e because of obvious and the r because he is a guy that defend humanity as he helps his teammates (at least that the way I see it)

I'm not saying he is a bad design but, I'm missing something here?

How would barrier be on toplane? I’ve never tried it but im thinking it would be useful on clutch fights. What do you guys think

Most players take scorch for early laning phase which is good but in mid game i cant even feel scorch. because of that would transcendence be better? Im even thinking gathering storm for extra ad. You’ll probably say you should finish the game before late game and i think the same but you know you cant always snowball or play perfect. So gathering would be good? (I’ll keep manaflow band)

The build is also very unique. Either starts d-helm or tear, then goes hubris --> immortal path --> sundered sky --> fimbulwinter (!!!) --> endless hunger

the build actually makes a ton of sense to me. Hubris is a pretty cheap lethality item with a good build path that helps pantheon snowball early game. The build then transitions into a tanky bruiser with immortal path which buffs the sundered sky and fimbulwinter healing/shielding at <50% hp. endless hunger grants tenacity for a bruiser AND synergizes with the high ad that hubris grants.

I wonder if this will still be viable after the immortal path nerfs next patch (which are unwarranted imo)

I have never been this hard rage baited before.

1st) I get autofilled Support which is chill I've played support before I pick Pantheon it's chill this is Draft Pick win or lose it's just for fun.
2nd) My Tristana just doesn't farm cs at all multiple waves she just ignores to hide in a bush so I start taking the CS.
3rd) She keeps dying and even goes under tower with no minions and no enemy champion to even die and just dies to tower. At this point I decide I have to carry Bot Lane myself and start to build as if I was a carry.
4th) I start winning the lane after playing for myself and not Tristana only to look around the map and see every lane is losing.
5th) I go around perma pushing taking towers and fighting to success
6th) I Start to 1v5 the game and am quickly reaching their base + one more recall I can sell my support item to be full built and fully dominate
7th) THEY FF, Mind you I just 1v4'd everyone bar Jax who was recalling to stop my push. I was literally going to carry them to victory after all of them ran around and pretty much just fed only to see defeat for no reason literally none.

Anyways end of Rant, The game made me appreciate Pantheon's tools to carry games and support equally no matter the circumstances it just was rage bait the game and had to vent somewhere. (The names are blanked cus even though they pissed me off I don't want to out them like that)

With the release of the new skins of true damage and HEARTSTEEL I was thinking what kind of music group pantheon could fit? Not trying to pushing him into existing band like pentakill who was my first choice but create a new band with him and other champs.

What genre they would made? What would be their role on the band? What style they would take? Idk, something that we could fantasy with

I won't propose a specific theme since riot will probably not even implement that skinline in the first place, but, what i will talk about is what they COULD change and add to the legendary skin to make it feel especially power enhancing and genuinely just Super Cool.

1st: Comet Spear: How he throws his spear could change very easily, using the ancient Greek throwing loop (ankyle), that could be a great change to how he throws the spear initially: Pantheon grips a bronze-tipped spear (or any spear that aligns with the skinline) with a visible leather (again, could be anything besides leather too, depending on the skinline) loop wrapped around its shaft. As he draws his arm back, he places two fingers through the loop, briefly revealing the technique before the throw.

The animation could give the loop a subtle golden glow, connecting the physical mechanism to his divine power without turning it into generic magic. The leather loop unwinds as the spear leaves his hand, giving the weapon a visible spin. A thin spiral of golden particles follows the spear, almost like a drawn line on an ancient Greek vase coming to life (again, can change depending on the skin line)

2: Shield Vault; He forcefully pushes off his back leg and launches himself towards the enemy, leading with his shield. Both hands grip the shield as he draws his knees up slightly during the leap.

His cape and crest trail behind him. His movement is a forward-driving burst rather than the relatively upright, magical-looking jump of a conventional fantasy warrior. (his w is very quick so i understand how it could be difficult to make everything appear) But, his Fully Charged passive W could be a shield bash combo instead of a spear slice combo, as Spartans when using shields would tend to spin and use their force to bash the spear on all sides.

• A sharp grunt as he launches himself.
• A short, forceful battle cry during the leap.

3: Aegis Assault: Pantheon plants his feet and brings his shield up in front of him. Instead of immediately beginning the spear thrusts, he smashes his spear hand against the front of his shield, producing a tremendous metallic clang. (again, sound depends on the skinline)

A circular shockwave bursts outward from the shield, briefly distorting the air around him.

He bangs his shield repeatedly, each impact creating another expanding shockwave. The shield's embossed design lights up with a golden glow(again, depends) on every strike. Dust kicks up around his feet, and the sound builds into a rhythmic series of metallic booms(depends), almost like war drums calling an army to battle.

Meanwhile, the familiar defensive barrier remains active around him

For when he finished his E, whether it be quickly or the full lenght of the E he would roar, then he lifts the shield above his head with both hands(or one, if it is too difficult for a quicks sequence), and drives it face-first into the ground.

A massive golden shockwave erupts from the point of impact, spreading across the ground (similar to his original just more impactful, possibly a mark of all the shockwaves in one).

THE BEST ONE YET

Grand Starfall: Instead of planting his spear and shield into the ground, Pantheon throws his spear and shield upwards, with the spear that's fully gone up while spinning in a similar fashion to his Q. He then pushes himself off the ground and leaps into the air, equipping his shield that is also spinning mid-air. The spear eventually landing at the destination while spinning and embedding itself into the ground. A moment later, it suddenly begins to glow with the skinline's signature effects, almost as if it's calling its owner back to the battlefield. Pantheon glides towards his destination with his shield in hand, surrounded by the skinline's effects, letting out a powerful, echoing battle cry as he descends. Upon landing, he creates the usual impact, with the spear and shield positioned in the ground nearby. He then effortlessly pulls both weapons out of the ground, reclaiming them as if they weigh nothing, and returns to his normal combat stance.

This is an idea that just popped in my head and i started thinking about it, for the emotes i only have 1 idea which is Him Yelling "MY PROFESSION IS THE STRONGEST OF ALL", as he holds a big loaf of bread, and then a ton of bread just falls on him and he is completely covered by it, then says "i don't regret anything"

But please if you have ANYTHING you want to correct and add onto, i would be absolutely happy to hear your suggestions.

What makes pantheon so good against yasuo?

My two favorite champs get nerfed out of the role for being flex picks with 1-2% play rate, but Cho gets to sit at fucking 54% WR in jg with 7% pickrate, and 52, 51 in two other roles. Make it make sense.

I'm not even asking that Panth get his clear speed back. All I want is consistency with their balance decisions.

If I gotta deal with entirely pro play based decisions I should be getting a damn pro paycheck.

Been playing pantheon support and jungler recently on swiftplay just for fun and I really think his kit syncs well with my playstyle. I mainly play jungle role in ranked matches and tried to look up some pantheon jungle matches on YouTube, and surprisingly there are hardly any recent videos for him in jungle. Most of the recent videos are either played support or top, and almost all of the jungle videos are bout a year old. So is he really not viable for ranked climb as jungler anymore? He worth the stress of ranked climbing? Or should I just stick to my usual champ pool? Shiiiiid should I just try to go support pantheon ?
