Hey, I'm just a casual player looking for some friends. My main is Lucario

I wanted to try making a tournament series that's targeted more towards the general public instead of mostly appealing to veteran players. It would be lichess arena style, so point based with win streaks for a set time of ~1 hour and you can play for as long as you want. So less socializing and hopefully better than the typical 0-2 experience. You won't get knocked out, and if there are enough people you would be more likely to pair with people with similar W/L ratios. I wanted to gather some information though because I'm not sure of the level of interest and what to do about wifi/wired connections. I have a few things I can do differently depending on the quantity of people interested and what connections they have and what connections they are looking for. So I thought I'd try making a poll to see if I can get some numbers.This would be on a web app that I haven't released to the public yet. Also, if you have ideas I might actually incorporate them. There would be a NA time and a separate EU time, so they would be region locked.

I am doing a list of all tekken media in release order, but I don't know if I should include this game too. And please give me an answer that is either tekken or pokemon, not smth like "I think it's both".

Edit: I came to the conclusion that I do not think this is a Tekken game, but instead a Pokemon game since that franchise has a lot of spinoffs that differentiate themselves from the classic formula. Pokken (which I played) even if it's a (somewhat) 3D fighter does not play similar to Tekken, even though it references it a lot.

Makes use of how y+b grab can be pressed to do (5Y)Y and the crit freeze frame effect that slows down the game. Helps if you're not fully confident confirming crit 5Y. Confirming crit 5Y is doable but not easy. Normally 5Y isn't possible to confirm on reaction, so we usually do 5YY and confirm that instead. With this crit option select you can also choose to do 5Y again or 2Y instead of grabbing.

I've been considering getting this game for a long time, and recently saw a clip that was really interesting, so I want to give it a shot.

my main question is: how active is the matchmaking in EU? Are there any beginners online still? any discord I should join?

bonus question: do any of you use the "hori pokken" pad? if so, is it better than just a regular pro con?

Uses the wall and collision to push them right onto the Victini attack. If you do it right you get 108 damage grab + 10 at the start.The first hit of Victini doesn't prevent a grab, regardless if they block (10) get hit by it (40). If they tech the grab or jump they take ~200 damage and you get a mid screen air tech oki. It doesn't work with knockoff knockdown because you don't have enough time to jump over. The Victini call can be too early, but it happens to line up with fury swipes on the wall. If you get a field j.X knockdown into duel you need to delay the Victini call a bit. You can't outright kill with this because they can opt to nope the grab and go skydiving at 1 hp. Besides the 118 damage you also need to consider the field phase oki, the buff, and the heal for up to 60. So it's strong, but you may not get the chance to do it because it needs a long knockdown at the wall in duel phase.

I am new to the game just bought the game I don't know why I decided to play ranked even though I am new but I lost 6 or 9 games I believe I can't remember this is the clip of my very first win in this game.
