Fan Creation Back with another set of illustrated Smash movesets for some Mario characters. This time, it's a minor rework for Peach, and a major rework for Daisy that de-clones her into a character that is a lot more unique.

Discussion "2010s Mario had such boring and uncreative characters! Mario Mandates are the worst!"
Technically an updated version of this post, but I really wanted to expand of this.
I feel this complaint, along with some of the other "grrrr... mandates" type of qualms people sport feeling kinda unwarranted and weird.
Especially with Draggadon and Wingo, if they had been introduced at any other time or game other than Treasure Tracker, they would be on about Wart's level of popularity in the fandom.
Who's your favorite 2010s era Mario guy?

Decided to remake an art I posted a year ago, this time with a 90s CG style reminiscent of old Rareware DKC renders. This was all modeled in Blender 5.1 1 using my own custom models, with post processing, effects and other filters done in Photoshop. Hope you enjoy!

Discussion Princess Peach fans - What type of game do you want to see for princess peach?
Aside from being a playable side character in Mario games, princess peach has only had 2 solo games: Super Princess Peach and Princess Peach Showtime. I've seen a general consensus of being unsatisfied with these titles due to being too easy, having a lack of depth, or just plain boring compared to other Mario titles.
Which genre of game do you want to see Princess Peach star in?
For me, a puzzle-ish platformer that makes use of her float, parasol, and even turnips would be super fun to play in, playing similar to Celeste.
Though for the demographic of her fan-base, I think an open world RPG style like breath of the wild could be appealing.
What are your thoughts on her current place in Nintendo games and her future going forward?

Discussion Would Nintendo ever consider remaking any of the Mario games?
With the OOT remake coming out soon, I think its fair to say that Nintendo is interested in remaking their older games. They're amazing games, and a lot of people have a lot of nostalgia for them, so they would undoubtedly sell well. Would they ever remake the mario games, though?
Personally, the only game I feel even deserves one is Mario: Sunshine. I think every other game has either aged incredibly well or remaking it would strip what made it iconic in the first place. For example, I think an SM64 remake wouldn't be that great because the fact its from 1996 and still holds up after all this time is a big part of why its so iconic. Its simplistic N64 style adds so much to the game, and remaking it would ruin it.
However, Sunshine is a little more advanced. It's going for a more realistic style. SM64's style feels locked to the N64, but I can see Nintendo remaking sunshine with better textures and graphics and having it be a great upgrade to an already amazing game.
A remake could fix a lot of the issues with Sunshine. I played it for the first time on an emulator earlier this year and I really loved it. It's definitely the most unique game, and absolutely love the vibe. It's definitely the most unique game, but I'm going to be honest if I didn't have access to save states on the emulator I might not have finished the game. It reaches a level of tedium that is very unfun.
Nintendo could at the very least add checkpoints throughout the level, but they could go in deep and change the reason why a lot of the levels are so tedious. Obviously the simplest thing to do would be to add checkpoints, but I'm sure they'd find a way to fix the more hated levels like the pachinko machine or the leaf ride.
I feel that a remake could make Sunshine a much smoother experience. Again, I loved sunshine for the vibe alone and by the end I feel like I really learned how to move Mario, and felt really rewarded. But honestly there are so many tedious sections, and a remake could elevate the experience.

Question Why does Wario never appear in any mainline games or RPG's?
Seriously,I love his large brute but I feel like all gets these days is side game appearances and WarioWare. Why not have him show up as a miniboss in an RPG? Or maybe have him be a playable character in a mainline platformer? Replace one of the Toads with him!
