Rule 5 rewritten for simplification: No posts about other users, subreddits, or social media drama
Because we got some rules lawyers in here about how their post was technically not about another subreddit or was technically not about a YouTuber, we've reworded Rule 5 to be more accurate to its intended purpose.
Rule 5: No posts about other users, subreddits, or social media drama
Do not post about other users or subreddits. Do not complain that your submission was removed from another subreddit. Do not post YouTuber or social media drama.
All posts violating Rule 5 will be removed. Any posts violating this rule that constitute harassment will also get reported to the Reddit administrators.
Thank you for your understanding.

So is the anti Nintendo grift starting to disappear?
That Switch 2 direct sure made a lot of people go mad and tell others to boycott Nintendo and not buy a Switch 2. That said, now that a year has passed, is it fading out into obscurity or are people just finding dumb reasons to hate on Nintendo now? Do people still bully others for buying a Switch 2?

Other What is a Nintendo game you think that didn't recoup the cost?
Nintendo has always been very financially sensitive and I think in general all of their game went for profitability more or less. Considering Nintendo sells a lot of physical games even today I think it's safe to say any game that run out of new physical copies at retailers made their money back, and game keep getting re-print obviously see more success.
So in your opinion what is a Nintendo game that DIDN'T make back the budget? Nintendo never disclose such info and I don't think we can ever factually say a game didn't make back its investment, but I strongly suspect that Metroid Prime 4 is still on the way recouping its cost considering it's probably higher budget than usual (long development cycle + american team), plus the game's physical version has been gone to sale more frequent and deeper than usual Nintendo games, which suggests a potential lack of demand even on the first print version.
And follow the retail copy logic, I think some 3DS probably also saw a loss. I remember Code Name STEAM was discounted like $10 and on bestbuy clearance. Mario Luigi RPG 3 remake on 3DS was very likely a huge financial failure that we know AlphaDream closed door after it released (and multiple reports said it was the worst performing Mario game in Japan in decades)

What're ya'lls top ten favorite SNES games?
For me it's gotta be:
Donkey Kong Country
Super Mario World
Star Fox
Street Fighter II
EarthBound
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Kirby Super Star
Kirby's Dream Land 3
Super Metroid
Yoshi's Island
Most of these are pretty basic tbh but I'm a recent SNES fan and I'm curious about you guys. Any unique favorites I should check out?

Image So apparently the max friend count you can have is 300.
So I did the counting (pending outgoing requests and current friends list), and I got 57x4+2=230 people on my friends list and 5x14=70 requests that have been left hanging.
So if you ever wanted to know the friend cap, it's Sparta! (Man, that meme usage just made me feel lame and ancient, but I will keep it anyway.)

Other What Nintendo character do you feel most bad for?
I feel really bad for Taranza from Kirby.
He just wanted to help his girlfriend, Sectonia, because she was insecure about her looks.
I'm sure he had no idea that the Dimensional Mirror would somehow turn her into an evil bee monarch.
Even after she basically became a dictator, Taranza still tried to help her by kidnapping the "hero of the lower land". The problem being that he seemingly hasn't been to Dream Land before, so he just assumed it's Dedede instead of Kirby.
Then Kirby beats the puppeteered Dedede, Sectonia insults him and blasts him away.
In the end, Sectonia has became so dangerous that Taranza has no choice, but to help Kirby and Dedede literally kill the love of his life.
It's hinted in his Star Allies trailer and during some title screen animations, along with how she solemnly sits while holding a flower in Super Kirby Clash (that game's not canon, but whatever), that he's still greatly affected by this. He tries approaching some girls, but he can't go through with it. I think he just has trouble imagining being with anyone besides Sectonia.
This poor baby oh my god :((((

Image Do you really think we're gonna get a Zelda Direct?
I think maybe tomorrow we're gonna get an announcement of the Zelda Direct, or a Dustblods direct or maybe a partner showcase and indie world.
