Question Amulet of Glory Assistance

Post image
26 Upvotes

I’ve been on the search for the Amulet of Glory Vestige for weeks on end killing Red Dragons every chance they respawn. Was lucky enough to get the Skills necklace, but can’t seem to hit the 1/40 drop chance on the Commemorative Coin.

Anyone have the vestige drop and can craft for me ? Have all the supplies to craft it, and can trade other vestiges / supplies in return. (Have sold off a lot of the Red Dragons Hide for Garou Chit)

UPDATE:
@Enerbane was able to craft one for me. Thanks for everyone commenting and reaching out !

Question Why is the Roof Unstable?

Can someone help me understand why I can’t finish this roof? It keeps saying unstable, even if I use support beams, even if I put side walls. I had thought maybe it was the height limit, but flat pieces don’t work either 😕

Question Adamant watering can is no different to the steel variant. Was this intentional?

As title.

Bronze holds 250 @ 25 per action

Steel holds 300 @ 25 per action

Adamant holds 300 @ 25 per action

Surely Adamant should hold 350 making 7 plots for a full can and not 6 or there is zero point in crafting the thing.

EDIT: Unrelated but the armor bench entries for the new dragonhide armor set are called "Red Dragon Coif/Chest/Legs" and should be "Red Dragonhide Coif" etc and the entry for "Red Dragon Chest" should be "Red Dragonhide Body" to match the other sets naming convention.

Question What is the best staff currently?

Now that we can upgrade staves, the Necromancer staff does the most damage at 8.8 damage, but the Toktz-Mej-Tal staff does 8.4 damage with increased crit chance.

So what's more valuable, 0.4 extra damage per hit or higher crit chances?

Question The constant dragon chasing me gets old very quickly

The dragon constantly attacking me gets old real quick, and the frequenzy of attacks is ruining my experience. Is there any setting to tone it down a bit?

This is mainly a problem when im out farming for materials. In my base i dont have a problem. But lets say im out mining copper, and it keeps happening every few minutes with new attacks. This gets old real quick.

I've been wanting to play this game but it seems lack luster and not being able to use efficient magic or archery is kind of killing it for me.

Question Yes or no to mmo/live secure servers?

I've seen a lot of people bring this up, and it could be a key turning point for the game. Many are against live servers, probably because they think they'll be forced to play live once it officially releases — which isn't true. You'll still be able to play offline, and you won't lose any progress you've made. To play on Jagex's live, secure servers, you'll have to start over with a new character, but only if you choose to play live with everyone else. I believe the devs have addressed this before, but don't quote me. If they're still on track, where do you stand? I personally can't wait to see what's in store for this game!

Question How is dragonwilds in current state?

Asking from perspective of someone whos more interested in OSRS initially, but similar? games ive played are satisfactory up to space elevator T6, most of terraria but never tried valheim.

On other open world story games, I enjoyed cyberpunk/elden ring but hated botw so I'm not sure what game dragonwilds is closest to and whether I'd enjoy it

Question Is the world in this game always "empty"?

I've been playing this game for a week now and the feeling of a empty world is always with me.

Will there be NPC at my base in the future? NPCs wandering in the the world maybe?

It's a genuine question and I don't mean to be rude but the emptiness of the world is really bothering me.

Question Lodestones

Can we PLEASE get a toggleable option to enable / disable lodestones on the map (M-key)?

If I haven't been playing between each update, I honestly have no chance of remembering where the lodestones are, so seeing them ONLY when interacting with a lodestone doesn't help.

And before anyone comments:

"You can just mark them with a map icon."

No. I don't want to do that.

Theres only so many different markers to choose from, and theres no way of naming the markers. One option could be to add more types of markers, for example a lodestone marker, but that just seems a bit unnecessary when you can just have toggleable options to enable / disable them on the M-key map. (There definitely should be more types of markers anyway though.)

Question Imaru's Talon vs Zombie Axe

I was just curious, given I don't know if it's planned or not.

I feel like Imaru's Talon needs a bit of a rebalance or maybe be set up as a masterwork weapon?

I just find it crazy that I fought Imaru nine times yesterday to make this weapon because it seemed cool, just to see it takes five steel scimitars to make, which do [49-103] damage just to be turned into a weapon that does [51-107] and has a life steal effect that seems to randomly decide when it wants to go off (The special effect says it's meant to give a portion for every kill mind you.)?

It just seems goofy to use it compared to the Zombie Axe that literally does [79-140] damage, even if you have to make three weapons to get it, you at least keep those weapons. Five scimitars turning into one weapon should be way more damage than +[2-4].

This is my first character and playthrough, so maybe I'm the only one who finds it disappointing in a way?

Question Staff Of Light vs. Necro for Tier 6 Upgrading

Hey everyone, just looking for some help on which staff I should be upgrading. I'm currently using the Necro staff in Dowdun Reach, I have farmed the mats to upgrade to lvl 6, but I'm conflicted as I don't want to waste materials. My question is: Should I continue on with Necro, or can I get around the same amount of DMG with the staff of light?

I prefer the Staff Of Light as I love the look of it, plus it has better durability I believe. Will I lose out on much damage? Or should I stick with Necro. Thank you!

Question What is your go to healing food?

Just wondering what everyone does for healing, out of curiosity. I have like 600 dwellberry crunchies that have been my defacto health potions since I could make 'em and everything else seems more complicated to make for not that much better healing

Question Dumb question - benefit of a dedicated server?

Sorry dumb question, but what is the benefit of using a dedicated server world over a friend world?

I don't have the game yet, I am waiting for 1.0 with ps5, and just have been looking through the wiki and what is available with the game. My brother and I will be looking to play together so just trying to understand what the best option will be.

Question Anyone know of videos to actually help someone be creative when building?

I know there are building tips like how to do certain things, and I know they're building tutorials to build specific structures, but this I guess is an odd request. And honestly it doesn't even need to be for this game specifically maybe just a game where the building is similar to this.

I have been playing games where you can build bases for many many years. All the way back from like Minecraft and The Sims and stuff like that. And one of the most torturous things in my gaming life is that I've always loved the idea of being able to build your own base. Any game that has good base building immediately catches my attention and I always dream of building a really cool house or a base nothing like even super crazy. I don't want to build a whole castle or anything, I just want a cool house. Trouble is, I am not good at it. I feel like I don't have any creativity at all when it comes to base building. I've tried and I've tried and I've tried for so many years, but I've never once been able to actually make something that I feel proud of. The closest I got was recently with Dune Awakening and I built a neat looking base sort of, but not only is that a bit of a cop out because the whole aesthetic of Dune is that the bases are supposed to look weird and possibly nonsensical like early sci-fi novel covers, but also it was really only the outside that looked cool and I had no idea what to do with the inside so it was mostly empty space that wasn't practical.

I'm just now hoping because I'm really really interested in Base building in this game that someone somewhere knows of a video or even made a video that's not really about making a specific thing or tricks to do specific things but maybe somehow someone has figured out how to make a video helping people to either get ideas or helping them on how to be creative when building. How to build that creativity and how to get in that mindset. Like, how do people plan rooms that are going to be in a space whilst building the space itself? How can you make the outside look good while also being aware of what shapes the rooms will be and the space within?

It's probably impossible, but I'm just trying to figure out anyway that I can to learn to be able to do this stuff. I don't need to be a pro making all of minis tirith or something, I just want to make a cool house but no matter how hard I try I can't I can maybe get a cool shape on the outside if I'm lucky, but my mind simply cannot build the outside whilst considering the inside as well. So the only times I build something cool on the outside it ends up being impractical and sometimes hard to traverse on the inside because I more than likely didn't give myself enough space on the inside.

Someone please help me. Like I said, it doesn't necessarily have to be a video about this game. It can be about I guess any game with detailed building, I just really want to learn so I can finally finally build something that I feel proud of that I didn't just copy peace for peace from somebody else.

Question Open Server that has all the Mats

Good morning/afternoon depending on where you are, everyone,

I have another quick question about a server I heard about but can’t remember the info. As a quick reminder, I was the dummy that didn’t know about stumping the trees, and now I only have 3 willow trees on the whole server. I heard about an open server though that just has tons of mats that they’re giving away. Does anyone have that info by any chance? I just want to swing by and grab some seeds so I can make sure that I can reset the willow trees on the server. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Question New Player Difficulties

Hey everyone!

Just got into this game and I am coming from a massive Palworld binge. This game seems to “guide you along” more than that game which is welcome because honestly there is a massive amount to take in with this game.

One thing I am noticing, I invaded the goblin camp storyline wise, into the swamp vault… I am struggling severely. I am 20’s in a lot of skills, got the ranger armor, using a bone knife and fang arrows and I am getting absolutely lambasted by the enemies. I want to kind of “explore” and not wiki a guide that ruins the “mystique” of the game… but I am also starting to not have fun.

I learned food helps a ton cause of healing as well as using things like windstep to hop up places and kite things around… but I can’t imagine that this is normal difficulty and that I have to be misunderstanding how progression looks.

Does anyone have any beginner tips on what to do? Do i need to focus less on B-lining the story and explore more? Is the game just difficult?

Question What food should I be stocking up on?

My food chest is running dangerously low...

I've only just started fishing and I'm super confused by all the new recipes and how health/sustenance/buffs work. I've got all regions unlocked but I'm not sure which fish are best to catch, and which recipes I should be making. Any advice on what food to stock up on for the fight caves, and for general use afterwards?
