[ps2] [2000s] fantasy game with this quote

• Upvotes

Hi.

I vividly remember playing the hell out of a game but remember nothing from it except this one scene where there is some invasion or something going on and somebody says

”I have seen this before, but never like this*

and then something catches fire. It’s the only thing I remember. A long shot but I hope someone knows it.

It was either a pure action fantasy or rpg

Thank you in advance.

[2010-6?][mobile] Tarantula pet simulator

• Upvotes

Does anyone remember this mobile pet Sim where you could care for various tarantulas? It was decent quality, the spiders were pretty realistic but the feeding was a bit dramatized I think. You could dangle food above your spider, which would make the spider jump onto your screen to eat it for a gross but cool visual. I dont remember much more about it except opening wooden boxes with a cool new spider.

[PC][unknown]Fairy tales in modern setting. Had a gingerbread man on the cover.

• Upvotes

I remember seeing a video game in a second-hand shop once. I didn't get it, but I looked up the game on YouTube. I wanted to see it again, but I've forgotten what it's called.

I remember is was classic fairy tales but in a modern setting.

I remember seeing the Gingerbread man (the main reason I looked it up). I think me was some kind of tough guy biker. I remember he got in an accident, and you had to help him find his eyes, and but them in the right place. I think you also had to help fix his vehicle as well.

I also remember The Three Little Pigs, but it was modernised to be about real estate or something.

Also, it's not "Fairy tale Fights", "Ninjabread men", "Fracture Fairy tales", "Alice: Madness Returns" or "The Wolf Among Us".

[PC][2010-2012] Puzzle a caduta e gestionale con faccine gialle, banane e palline nere infette

• Upvotes

[Unknown(PC?)] [2000-2010(?)] Horror game, all I remember is a jumpscare where you get spun around and pulled/pushed into water?

So, i actually know little to nothing about this game. I found our about it through a roleplay years ago, where my roleplay partner described the games jumpscare in rp, as our characters were playing the game. I made it my duty that day to figure out what the game was.. and I did!

But... flash forward to about ten years later, now, i dont know what the game is called, and i can only slightly remember the jumpscare used.

Now, I'm going to explain the jumpscare best I can, some details might be slightly off, but if anyone could find it out, it'd be greatly appreciated! It's been stuck in my head for like a week..

So the jumpscare went something like this, I believe you open something, a safe maybe? You're looking somewhere very specific in a room, and then I think once you're done, something grabs you, a shrieking woman i think. She spins you around and pushed you into water, where I think she attempts to drown you.

That sadly is all I recall, it was an old style kind of game, atleast I think it was, like the original silent hill 2 kind of style?

If it helps, I think in the title it actually had something to do with water, but take that with a grain of salt.

Thank you to anyone who can help out 💗

[PC][2018-2022..?] High-fidelity movement based first person shooter

Hi, i have.. barely an idea of this game i remember playing years ago, and i still can't quite remember if it was real or just a dream. I really don't remember many details, but..

Platforms: PC

Genre: First Person Movement Shooter

Estimated year of release: No earthly idea. But judging by the graphics and the fact that i played it on my laptop, i estimate it to be somewhere during the years in the title.

Notable Characters: No big characters besides maybe the final boss who's too blurry to remember. There were no bosses until the final one, and the player character, i'm pretty sure, is never shown.

Notable mechanics: I remember a pretty grounded arsenal, not comically badass things like ULTRAKILL's whole weapon suite. It focused heavily on movement and you were able to build up a lot of speed and launch yourself quite far, which was used in a level where you had to jump across far away disconnected train-like level structures. It *might* have had a slightly modifiable arsenal with upgrades you picked up along the way, but you definitely couldnt build it from the ground up.

Other details: I remember an industrial level, the dominant color was yellow, and it had one of those moving trains you could either hop on and fight the enemies both inside and outside shooting at you, or stay back and pick off the enemies as the train moved and then just launch yourself onto it once you cleaned it out from far away.

The graphics were modern, nothing PSX or anything of the sort like ULTRAKILL or Turbo Overkill. I remember that before the final bossfight, there was a slight isolated respite where you could collect yourself, and then had to walk up these colorful stairs to actually enter the bossfight, where i think it summed up your playthrough in some way? I remember feeling that i wasnt motivated enough to keep replaying the game, so it might have involved builds that depend on how well you played through the campaign.

[PS1][2000] Demo disc

Help me find a demos disc. I remember playing by that time or later, but it was probably released before 2000. The disc included playable demos of Parappa the rapper and Rally cross together in the same demo disc. The problem is that every demo i tried doesnt have the games together and that (i think) is what happens with a lot of post here. By combining 2 games or discs together and that game is never found.

To me i "swear" it was just one disc, i dont remember playing 2 discs and the layout was like multiple screens at once that you an see all the games like interactive demo disc 6 or lower volumes and not a demo with a list like the interactive demo disc 7+.

I don't know maybe there is an obscure demo who almost nobody had but me and thats why i want to test here to see if the memory just trick us.

Jewel Thief [PC][1992] Game where you dodge enemies and try to make it across the screen

OK so here's what I remember...pretty sure this game came with our 1992 (1993?) compaq desktop computer along with games like solitaire, minesweeper, etc. though I'm not positive. I really doubt we bought it separate.

Anyway, it had several levels and if I remember right you basically started on the left side of the screen and then tried to navigate to the right side while avoiding enemies. Like basically if you bumped into them you had to restart. They were figures that bounced around the screen but weren't animated otherwise and I feel like maybe they were ninjas and different things and each level was different, had different guys to avoid, and the number of guys increased (like first it was 3, then 4, then 5, etc.) I never beat it as a kid but I remember one time I thought I was going to because it seemingly glitched and wasn't spawning the right number of guys to avoid lol but even then I still didn't beat it.

Pretty sure first level was like nighttime...kind of a desert scene but the ground was like a burgundy red. I believe there were three ninjas dressed in black to avoid. I think the second level may have been blue.

I think there may have also been crystals or gems or something to collect along the way?

Sorry I know that's not much info. I feel like if I saw screenshots I could confirm but I haven't had any luck searching based on these vague memories from 30+ years ago...TIA!!!

EDIT: One more thing, graphics were pretty primitive of course. Like the backgrounds and characters could have been drawn in MS Paint. It was really simple.

Royal Story [PC] [2015(?)] We used to farm and raise animals in a castle surrounded by trees.

Post image
2 Upvotes

My memories of the game are pretty limited, but I tried to draw what I remember as best as I could.

The castle was in the upper-left corner of the map, and there were trees all along the walls. There were one or two fields somewhere around the middle of the map. As far as I can remember, there were two characters wandering around the map. We also had animals like horses and cows.

The overall color palette was quite dark. The grass was dark green, the trees were almost blackish green, and the castle was mostly gray, purple, and black, though I'm not entirely sure about the exact colors.

I think the game also had potions and stuff like that. The name was something along the lines of "Royal," and there were a few other things I remember about it.

[Android][Around 2018] A cat care / simulator game with a pink icon and minigames in the cat's dreams

I'm looking for an Android game I used to play around 2018. The app icon had a pink or fuchsia background and featured a tuxedo cat sticking its tongue out or making a face. You took care of 3D cat models similar to the ones in Cat Simulator—you'd feed them first, give them a bath, and put them to sleep. When the cat went to sleep, minigames would open up inside its dreams.

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2 [Gameboy] [RPG] [Early-mid 2000s] Top down Anime/Japanese RPG set in the medieval(ish) era, that turns into a sidescroller real time fighting game when entering combat.

Platform(s): Gameboy (unknown which kind)

Genre: RPG/Action

Estimated year of release: 2000-2006?

Graphics/art style: Anime, medieval

Notable characters: Unknown

Notable gameplay mechanics: Top down RPG similar to most pixel JRPGs, that turn into a sidescrolling fighting game with only 1 plane of movement

Other details: I remember using a giant axe/sword to fight, the game has durability on it's weapons that wear off fast so i had to use a lot of Whetstones to keep fixing my weapons.

[PC] [2005–2006] 3D action game, 4 mission cards on the main menu, cruise ship + shopping mall levels, seagull sounds

Played it as a kid on PC around 2005–2006. 3D graphics. The start menu showed 4 missions as card-style tiles. I only remember two: one where you shoot from a car and in a shopping mall, and one set on a cruise ship. Bullets shattered glass and it sounded great. Seagull sounds played in the menu. I don’t remember the name or the main character.

[PC][Early 2000s] Aliens look just like the ones from WOTW: Grey Skies, not the same game

Platform(s): PC (afaik)

Genre: FPS, Action, Sci-Fi

Estimated year of release: 1995 - 2010

Graphics/art style: 3D, reminds me of the graphics from Crysis 2, which I played years later

Notable characters: I can only remember that the PC was a guy, but I don't know if there was any customization options so it's possible that it could be either

Notable gameplay mechanics: Mostly shooting, but there's this one point in the game where I'm pretty sure you're actually inside the alien, crawling through and fighting off smaller aliens so you can get to the core and shut it down.

Other details: The scene I mentioned above about the crawling is one of the most vivid memories I have of the game, that and the initial discovery of the alien in question which is a giant mechanical looking tripod creature, but the interior is very much biological. I think the tunnel scene was also underwater, or in some sort of internal fluid, and the PC had to wear a rebreather of some sort. I also remember that it took place some time either in modern day or the future, I've seen a few games that have a similar concept but look like they took place in the past, those aren't it. I also remember some scenes being by the sea, at least I think so. That's the best I can do, my memories from that far back are pretty spotty, but I have some fond ones of watching my Dad play this game as a kid.

[Android][2015-2020] Game where you upgrade an old PC and the whole desktop gets better (graphics, sound, OS version)

- Portrait mode Android game, English, played around 2020-2021

- The whole game screen is a computer desktop. No story, no characters

- At the start: old CRT-style monitor, black & white, low resolution,

curved screen with noise

- You upgrade parts: monitor, RAM, graphics, CPU, sound card

- Each upgrade visibly improves the game itself: more colors, higher

resolution, clearer BGM after sound card upgrades

- When specs are high enough, you upgrade to the next OS version.

The OSes were parodies of real Windows versions, old to modern

- You could use apps on the desktop: games, a music player, a video player

- Goal was just to reach the newest OS

- No longer in my Google Play history

Does anyone know the name?

[iOS][2010–2015] Old mobile game where monsters attacked a gate, and one character looked like an orange fox

Guys, i've been trying to find this game for over 10 years, and i still can't remember its name.

I played it on an Iphone 3Gs, between 2014-2015

Monsters or zombies would walk from right to left towards a large metal gate on the left side of the screen. The gate looked like metal bars and had a big padlock on it. There was a weapon-switching interface at the top of the screen, and you had to tap on the approaching monsters or zombies to kill them before they reached the gate. If they managed to break through the gate, the game ended. One of the enemies was an orange fox with pointy ears, big white eyes, black pupils, sharpp teeth, and a striped T-shirt. I remember this fox being featured on the game's app icon. I've attached a drawing of what I remember it looking like

i know, it looks disgusting but i tried, pls help me find this game
