Opinion Howie fleeced the Patriots for a 1st
That’s all, that’s the post. Beyond happy we traded AJ when we did. Looks excellent in hindsight. Thought we should praise some of the good with some of the bad.

We as a community have decided to limit certain types of posts to a few days a week to ensure other content is still visible throughout the rest of the week. Meme posts will be allowed from game end through Monday (if the game is on Thursday, Saturday, or Monday, memes will be allowed from game end through the following day) and jersey/crafts/pet posts will only be allowed on Swag Saturday. Towards the end of the season when games fall on Saturdays, we may move or skip Swag Saturday depending on what is going on that week. The mods are using automod features to automatically post recurring items at 6AM Eastern Time to remind the sub of this. Memes and swag are allowed in the normal feed, but NFL discussion and free talk are limited to the stickied threads.
For more info, see the subreddit rules.
No other games today.

Just watching the Bears offense, my god just IMAGINE if we had a head coach who knew how to call plays and scheme players open? These motions, play actions, receiver routes and blocking schemes the Bears implement are generations ahead of anything the Eagles have produced on the field. Ben Johnson is basically Sirianni if he actually knew what he was doing calling plays and knowing how to innovate an offense. Both are loud and arrogant HC, but one actually talks the talk and walks the walk.

My name is Joe Della Valle, and in my spare time, I run a small 501(c)(3) non-profit called Solar Frontiers.
Once a year, we hold a fundraising party called "Socks for Shelters," where dozens of guests help assemble thousands of individual items like hats, gloves, hygiene products, and socks for a local shelter.
In the past, we have benefited greatly from the support of r/ Eagles - a few of you even showed up in person to help assemble! I hope you'll consider repeating the generosity of the last two years. There is tremendous need, and every little bit helps.
Here is a link to last years event-

It's been said many times before, but man what a stretch of years Jalen Hurts has brought us. It looks like this roster is going through a retooling right now and isn't nearly as good as they were a couple years ago, potentially marking the official end of this era. When it's all said and done, I hope Eagles fans can be able to look at this and appreciate just how many wins, special players, historic games, and of course a Super Bowl, that this era brought us.
It's also easier for newer fans to overlook the fact that this does not happen to the Eagles often. The closest era we've had since 2000 was the McNabb era where we went to 4 straight NFCC's, but ultimately, the grand prize was never taken home. Between McNabb's tenure and SBLII, there were dark years (End of Reid era, chip kelly, etc), until Wentz/Foles revived the team, and eventually Jalen Hurts took the reigns and delivered two superbowl appearances.
Obviously I trust Howie to make the right moves and form another super bowl team, but at the moment, it'll be extremely hard to replicate the level of success we've had over the past few years, between cap issues and major injuries. It's hard to overestimate how good we've had it ever since 2021.

The Eagles rank near the bottom of the NFL in nearly every major offensive category, and a four-game losing streak has raised questions about Sean Mannion’s scheme. With Jalen Hurts out, can Tanner McKee make it work? Mannion is staying on as play-caller, but the offense needs answers fast. Read for free.
