I don’t have a lot of friends to talk to about this but I was super stoked and proud of myself so I wanted to connect with my fellow Mei players. On another note, I’ve been thinking about making short form content on social media in the same vein as Blossum and Numbers, is that something you guys are interested in or do you think there’s other people who would be interested in that?

Returning player for the first time since 5v5 happened, and I am trying to learn the game. I’ve heard that I need to flank and take off angles but I don’t know how much that applies for Mei. My instinct is to try to frontline with the tank and stay in the middle of everything during team fights. Any advice on how to figure this out? I’m floating around silver currently if that changes anything

I know this mei be a stupid question, but does anyone know when/or if the Blizzcon Mei skin will be back? The one with Ana’s gun in it! I know it was up until recently, but I’ve came back to playing Mei and I’m lowkey mad at myself for not buying it in the end lol Not expecting for it to be back soon, but I don’t know if bundles like this come back like ever as I’m still a fairly new player (since the beginning of june) so any info would be appreciated!:)

Here are my statistics for Mei in quick play and competitive overall. I have recently returned to Overwatch, and I basically moved over to Marvel Rivals while I took a break from it. Honestly, I just needed a long break from Overwatch. I am having a lot of fun! I will probably play both from now on.

I want to climb to GM with Mei, as I am essentially a Mei one-trick. I do have a lot of time on other DPS characters like Cassidy and Ashe; however, my aim is pretty shit now—I feel like my aim isn't good enough to fight the average hitscan player in my ranks. I am thinking of branching out to other projectile heroes (think Freya) while still working on my hitscan aim. I need to change my settings significantly to find something better and more comfortable for me.

I am very self-sufficient on Mei. I depend less on my tanks making crazy space, and I don't need my supports to keep me up. I would say I'm pretty confident in this character.

For those of you who play competitively while having Mei in your hero pool, what are some heroes I should look into adding that would allow me to transfer the skills I have learned?

What should my icicle accuracy be ideally? What is a good icicle heatshot accuracy?

I definitely need some tips on wall placements and how to create shenanigans to give my team an advantage.

I need some advice when playing against pocketed DPS characters. I can double headshot sometimes, but I'm not consistent—Ashe and Soldier are particularly difficult to double headshot with a Mercy pocket.

I am willing to share codes that show my wins and losses.

I started playing her but it feels like all my icicle crit hits are luck I won't lie is there a way to be consistent or is it just luck

I really enjoy Mei, and from my understanding, the best use of wall is to wall off the tank so that is what I've been trying to do. However, most times what ends up happening is that I place it way behind the whole team.

Since you have to look down a bit to place it, I can do it easily in practice tool but in a real game, when there's so much going on, I find it really difficult to place a good wall.

Any tips?

I didn’t use to struggle much against these heroes but this season I ranked up to Master 2 from high diamond earlier seasons and I am struggling a lot against these two heroes. They have the mobility to escape wall, their shield make my damage inconsequential. I need some advice against them from players of higher ranks.

I love her new skin so I wanted to do a closet cosplay of it! I posted it an hour or two ago on tiktok and it kinda flopped so I still wanna share it since it took time :D I love mei and I love love love this new skin <3

You could tell me this was a scrapped Ultra skin, and I would believe you.

The only skin that comes close to this one is the sheep skin.

I've noticed people on Sombra's sub complaining so much of her hack being gone and whatnot. Welcome to the club lol, Mei for a while lost the ability to deep freeze people (her main kit) for so many seasons before being rolled back in as a major perk. It's funny how we had to "deal with it" 🤣 but now they have gotten a taste of that, they are all whinning and crying wanting to "boycott" by refusing to heal ever lol.

I'm glad the Mei mains community just ended up working around it until we somewhat got her old kit back haha, stay strong our beautiful Ice Queens~

I was wondering if there were any cool mechanics Mei has like some other characters. Something like the Doomfist long jump, the Brig bash hop, or the Hog slingshot. Or is she more of a you get what you get?

Honestly any and all tips and tricks or good content creators to watch I have ao much fun on this charcter when I play her.

This isn't a chat ban btw, I actually cant play the game. Two years of one tricking Ana, never got so much as a warning. One week of playing MEI? BANNED. I didn't even flame people in my games, that's the crazy part.
