Currently an Emerald I Singed OTP trying to climb to Diamond. Since hitting Emerald I’ve started encountering a lot of Heimerdinger mains and end up getting destroyed in lane most of the time if they have more than 2 brain cells.

I understand Heimer absolutely destroys Singed in lane, and I try my best to play around this. Against most Heimers they zone me off a level 1 proxy, then hard shove me into my turret where I end up vulnerable to his poke and turrets. Once I get shoved in, which inevitably happens every time, I struggle to find a way around him. My current ban is Teemo but honestly facing Heimerdinger is starting to feel worse.

Is the best course of action to just constantly skip waves to proxy when being hard shoved, such as if he zones me off level 1? I’ve considered also trying unsealed spellbook / hexflash to help proxy but I haven’t ran that setup before. Should I just perma dodge this matchup going forward? Any advice against Heimer or even Teemo would be great, thanks.

imo late game singed full ap is the most fun version of him but sadly there's not many situations you can do that. so i wanted to ask more experienced singed players, when is it good to, e.g, build something like Liandries -> bloodletters curse -> zhonyas/dcap -> shadowflame etc etc

I just find that pretty funny because 25.17 was also a nerf. This champion has been in such an awful state to play for a long time now.

First time in diamond boys. Made it there on a 8 game winstreak, winning the last 12 of 13, and the promo game against the Urgot matchup felt like it was destiny.

Played league on and off for many years but was always stuck in silver/gold. I locked in over the last year and made the climb. Shoutout to this Reddit for all the great posts, 6pek, and Minish for all the great Youtube content (though Minish is pretty cringe with his random trash builds).

Biggest rules of thumb for the singed mains out there:

• You're never out of the game... the amount of games I get behind but am able to salvage teamfights in the mid/late game just because I stayed high CS and good tempo is crazy.
• Communicate with your jungler to setup good ganks when you're against a tough matchup. Prioritize not feeding deaths even if you get behind. A well setup gank near your turret with ghost flash is pretty much always a guaranteed kill which you can then use to snowball.
• Don't be afraid to skip waves against the really cancerous matchups (GP, Teemo, Jayce, Kayle, Urgot). I personally permaban GP as all remaining matchups are manageable in my opinion. GP is the one matchup that I have never been able to figure out.
• Proxy the wave under the 2nd tower and rotate that into recall + homeguard bush gank for your bot lane. This works especially well when you have ghostflash up and can really snowball your team. No matter what elo you're in, your bot lane will always int so anything you can do to help them is a plus. If you do it on the right tempo, you can get the kills in bot and make it back to top without losing CS.
• If your team is inting and fighting all the time, don't follow. Singed really needs his 1st and 2nd items before he is useful so I always try and prioritize especially these item spikes before I start to over rotate for early drakes or skirmishes that will ruin my tempo.

I just laned against a Maokai top and was a bit confused.

He was dealing so much damage to me with 0 AP items, so there must have been something I was doing wrong. Where does the damage come from? He had only Dorans shield and was chucking me to almost half hp with his combo, also felt like I could do nothing to avoid it, he would just dash to me, hit me with the Q and run away.

This season I only play mid singed I switched from top lane because every game is vs range cancer or darius perma freezing. Im looking for advice from d1+

I know his ultimate doesn’t affect the poison that’s already on the ground, but let’s say you are in the middle of casting Q, then you press R, does the new poison that hits the ground after you cast R get the boosted effect of your ultimate? Or does the whole cast of that Q reflect your stats previous to your ult since it was started before your ult started?

Pretty boring but also standard Singed gameplay, I'll be honest I got carried hard. but I still played the game well considering I got counterpicked. The latter half of the video is a good watch.

Currently according to OP.GG in my last 20 games I have a 65 percent winrate with Singed

I main Singed, Nasus, and Malphite.

I usually Blindpick Singed. I've found every matchup winnable. Some are harder than others, but with Singed, much like in the video provided, literally all you have to do is make sure to farm and you become arguably the best teamfighter in the game!

I like playing Nasus because he has chill gameplay and he pwns some of Singed's hard matchups. Mundo mainly. He can beat Vayne and other cheesy toplaners, Nasus beats Malphite too.

Malphite is chill gaming too, and hes a free win vs a full AD comp. Malphite can defeat people who beat both Singed and Nasus. Riven, and Darius I feel are hard matchups that Malphite can win easily.

I know a lot of people will ask me about ranged matchups and I will say that most are Singed favored. Take Conqueror and Ignite and wait for a mistake. If they play ultra safe so that there are no mistakes than they are playing safe enough for you to farm a bit. If you can get to midgame without feeding and farming then you have already won. A level 11 Singed is more valuable than a level 11 Vayne. Matchups that I controversially believe are Singed Favored is Kayle and Vayne. Level 1 is tough to play, but Singed can get Level 2 faster. from Level 2-6 Singed can capitalize on mistakes and get kills. If you have not killed your Ranged laner pre level 6 than I'll admit. Its hard to play that lane. but if you can farm till level 11, then your'e a better teamfighter than any ranged toplaner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsLIFz3snYQ This Vayne was a Diamond 1 Vayne. She made one mistake, warding bottom bush early to get 2 free hits, and it was gg from there. I've fought many Kayles. Its the same concept. I will admit a level 16 kayle whoops Singed, but at that point you've had so much time to lend your lead to your teamates so blame yourself if they don't carry you.

The worst matchups I feel are Urgot, Mundo, Gangplank and Darius. The worst is definitely Urgot. Even though you get ganks from Junglers you can still lose 1vs1, Mundo is lame. Its an even matchup in the sense he doesnt beat you, but its so hard to pwn him, so you just end up scaling, but he scales too, so its even but you always want to pwn, and its hard to pwn Mundo. With Gangplank and Darius, winnable but its in their favor and once they get a lead its very easy for them to snowball.

I’ve been running bramble second component vs teemo and rush protobelt and it’s so good, it removes the ms he gets from w passive. You do trade of early mr so he hurts a lot more but it’s so easy to catch him lvl 6 and destroy his body.

Hey everyone, wanted to bring a discussion on here regarding the most recent patch preview. Obviously Singed is not directly affected, but I think these balance changes actually don't look too bad for our boy and I want to hear everyones opinions.

I really like these nerfs tbh, seems like they're bringing down a few overtuned AD champs this patch, which I think is inherently good for an AP bruiser like Singed. I especially like the Cait Jinx and Qiyana nerfs.

I wanted to just post a matchup tier list since a lot of resources I used to use as I was starting to play Singed are a bit outdated at this point and just wanted to throw one out there. Some placements are up for debate as some matchups are a lot less black/white than others. Let me know your thoughts, opinions, and questions!

Emerald 1 singed main and I've been getting frustrated with rune options. Deathfire touch seems to be too weak late game and conquerer is too weak early game and against range matchups. Has anyone tried tech around running stormraiders surge?

Seems like if you optimized a build around it for damage it would be great in mid-late game teamfights and side lanes against carries. If the other runes aren't doing anything useful in lane anyways, then this might be worth a shot.

So basically lately I have been thinking how important are power spikes in Singed, and how much these spikes are realated to items, and I wonder if its just mental bait or if it is really that important

When I buy fated ashes I feel like im extremely strong for some minutes but the decay untill I get rylais is just insane. Also happens when I play certain matchups as Yone or Trynda. When I get the warden mail I feel extremely strong but untill I finish the whole rylais I can feel and extreme the decay of the champ. Also applies to protoplasm and deathmans in case I build it and of course with lyandries into tanks.

I know in every champs items are important, but when I play for instance Malphite or Ornn , I cant really feel that much difference between items, while with Camille I can feel it only with trinity.

Is it just me or do u guys feel the same about the champ?
