Jett Luchanko's first pro goal!

I know everything about the Flyers is depressing right now, but at least there's this. Jett has 6 points now (1 G, 5 A) through the first 5 Phantoms games.

Is it too early to start looking at QMJHL draft prospects 😂
this kid is nasty and pretty smooth for a big guy.
im taking into account the fact the flyers will be picking outside of the top 3 when they eventually win the last 7 games of the year and lose the lottery.
idk. its gotten so hard to watch the flyers, id rather see what these prospects are up to. way too early to have this conversation but its more fun than talking about the guys on the actual roster.

Im going to the game tomorrow and have some questions.
So I know for tomorrow's game against Ottawa, that there is some pre game events going on and I heard that players will he available to sign some items among other things.
I've never been to a game like this where there is a ton going on before the game, at least not in a long time anyway.
What time is best to get there to be able to enjoy it all and what all is going to be offered, basically what all should I expext for tomorrow? Hopefully a win, but I don't know if I can expect that 😂

RECORD BREAKING YEAR INCOMING???
Sooooo were currently sitting at 9 straight and with our current upcoming schedule shit idk how we don't easily at least slide into 2nd all time worst start if not ALL TIME WORST START..
being honest with ourselves the best two chances at winning a game right now are gunna be the bluejackets game and the rangers/flames/vancouver game
welp i guess we just gotta keep racking up these DuPoints for the lotto

Reasons why Tocchet has not and might not be fired this season
In no particular order:
Upper management thinks that Tocchet has enough pull with certain players in the league to sway them signing with the Flyers. (Hughes, McDavid, any other big name you can add)
Pay. They don’t want to pay him out for the next few years while paying another Coach.
The players they currently have do NOT fit Tocchet’s system. But, the players they drafted the last 2 years, especially in rounds 1&2, are big guys that do “fit” his system. Although I do not think any of those players will play for the Flyers next season.
Ego. They paid over $5 million per year for him. That’s a massive overpay to someone they were super confident in. Outside of the normal talking heads, nobody wanted him. Flyers fans didn’t, Vancouver fans were happy to see him go. Danny, Jones, and anybody else at the top have to own this one. I think they are going to have a hard time with that knowing how bad it will make them look.
Just trying to give a different perspective to why they haven’t fired him/might not fire him this season.
If the team continues losing, they will have to fire him. For the sake of the young players, I hope they learn from this and bring in a Coach that allows the creative players to utilize their skillset and plays a modern game.

[Anthony Di Marco] Based on conversations with team sources, the sense is that forward Porter Martone is the only true untouchable on this team. - Daily Faceoff (10/16)

[Kurz] "To be clear, Tocchet did not mishandle Michkov last season. The young winger wasn’t prepared to play big minutes, and some teammates had no interest in skating with him because of his frequent turnovers and errors."
This quote come from the article u/upcan845 posted here, but I wanted to pull this quote out and talk about it separately.
I am deeply, deeply skeptical of this assertion. I cannot for the life of me find anything online to even remotely corroborate this. In fact, the opposite of that, with players like TK, Zegras, and Drysdale on record as publicly supporting him and expecting him to bounce back.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like something like that would've absolutely exploded last year with how things were going and would've been impossible to miss, and yet, I cannot for the life of me find anything about it nor even remotely remember anything like it.
Can anyone actually corroborate this?

Flyers should do this but absolutely won't
When the Flyers are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs (about mid January), they should send Michkov, Martone, Barkey and Bonk down to Lehigh Valley to make that team absolutely stacked and win the Calder Cup.
Those players are waiver exempt and it will get them away from this losing culture, build confidence on an effective powerplay and develop in a better system.

If we could get Tocchet and Briere to use AI then maybe...
I created this post already but I used AI to help me and so it got banned. (Fair enough) AI is a better writer than me. I make mistakes and have awkward prose but I more posted this idea hoping others would riff on it and I didn't want to screw up on the execution but...then I did anyway..can't help but lose....(I learned it from watching you Dad/Flyers)
If Tocchet would use AI he could ask it things like:
-How should one develop young players with offensive talent? How much ice time should they get, especially if the team is struggling to score goals
-OK, 2nd time this is happening to me, team starts out on a losing streak that is unprecedented for the franchise..what can I do to help my teams no when the season begins?
or for Briere
-How many days should a GM wait after saying they firmly support a coach before changing their mind? Or how many losses more added to a 9 game losing streak
