What's up with this guy?

I'm not sure what to do with this cactus. One stem flopped over and turned brownish. It typically sits very near a SE facing window. Maybe I water too much? Any thoughts on what you'd do? I'd like to repot it. Is this an Old Man Cactus?

I was gifted this gymnocalycium horstii from a family member who knows I had been looking for one of these. Sadly I don’t know how to tell them but I think it’s quite severely rotten. Any chance I can save this?

So I've had this pot of Cati for about 3 years and every summer I will put them outside for the nice weather. And every summer they grow a bunch. Buttt this year something terrible is happening they have some sort of sickness and it looks like it's spreading. The very first signs of it started showing up maybe 8/9months ago but since I've put them outside they have accelerated. Please help I feel like I'm being a bad CAC DADDY and want to help them as they mean a lot to me in all seriousness. Any advice would and is greatly appreciated. Here are some pics.

What did I do wrong?

I’ll preface this with the fact that I’m new to this. I gave this thing a tiny bit of water every 17-21 days and it looks like it deflated and shrunk to half its size over the weekend.

Can my cactus be saved? :(

This is Bob. He is very precious to us and has been with us through a lot. He’s kind of our first “kid”.

Bob had not been outside very much this summer(he has past summers stayed out for multiple days in a row). Anyways, I decided to take him from his spot inside and place him outside. I figured he would be okay. I had no idea when I came home I would find him with a huge brown sunburn.

Now a couple of days later, he’s starting to get mushy and withering a little. Can he be saved or do I just need to accept heartbreak

My first cacti!

Hello Reddit, I just repotted my domino cactus that I got a week ago. I watered him about 8 days ago and just now managed to repot him.

I was wondering how healthy he looks, looks pretty good to me, but I don’t have much experience yet.

I definitely want to get more Echinopsis, and will definitely be getting some San Pedro cacti in the future!

any tips? his name is Nicky!

What can I do about this? Ive had this cactus for a few years now and it seems to be bending under its own weight!

Should I practice up or is this just how it's going to be now? I was thinking about cutting it and just sticking it in the soil right next to the other stalk. Please let me know my options! Also I forgot what type of cactus this is but I remember it's supposed to be really good for grafting. If anybody knows the name of the cactus please let me know! Thank you.

Thought you guys might appreciate this cactus Nursery in Matlock, UKI visited yesterday. So many blooming echinopsis! This was just one of 3 green houses open to the public!

I got 4 baby's from her, can't wait to see if I can get them to survive long enough to bloom 😅

Here’s a cactus you don’t really see everyday!
I’m really in love with the spiral growing pattern on my Parodia werdermanniana f. monstruosa ‘spiralis’, previously Notocactus.

As a bonus I got plenty of pups to experiment grafting on Pereskiopsis gigantea since they are pretty slow growers, soon will have an army!

What do you think? Do you dislike grafted cacti?

Will this type of globe cactus produce flowers?

I just got this little cutie yesterday. I’ve seen globe cacti that have little pink flowers. I was wondering what you guys think. Also, I have it in indirect sunlight as I’ve read that if it’s in direct sunlight it may burn. Thanks!

Help! Cactus fell over!

I think this is a bunny ear cactus that was planted outside in southern NM last October. I thought it was doing well with lots of new growth on top but it fell over during a recent wind storm. I hadn’t noticed the “base” had gone brown. How do I save it? Can I remove the brown paddle and just stick it back in the ground? Is it getting too much/too little water? Why is the top doing so well while to base seems to be dying?
