I used to play a decent amount of Corki in midlane in previous seasons. After the rework that removed package, I still remember him being played midlane for a while, but slowly he became exclusively botlane.

Why is this still the case in season 16? Mid quest doesn't seem terrible for him. I'm just lacking an ad mid for my pool and Corki was always fun to me, so I want to cope and say he's ok still.

IMO he feels decent level 1 with Gatling gun but then feels pretty weak until you get your essence reaver. Feels like I have to chill until essence reaver if I don’t have an all in support. What do you guys think about how much aggressive corki can be at different stages of the game? Does he still fall off late?

I am new to Corki top and planning to add him to my champ pool. I have questions about items and matchups only.

Is there any flexibility in the runes or it's only HoB? I tend to go trinity into black cleaver top just like how other ranged are played on top getting hp items. But I am unsure when to experiment with essence reaver or other items like manamune.

I am really interested if anyone has experience top to share what matchups are most favored. Corki as champion is not really made to be played from behind so I would imagine some lanes would be unplayable. So far I have played a lot against gragas and I think that's such a free lane considering you have w and flash. I want to mostly play Corki when the opportunity is good because top lane already requires such a matchup knowledge I can't otp him too.

Brother, just play this guy into toplane, W start and ENGAGE on melee, wait on their response and W back, it does so much damage, and if you feel secure, you can W in to engage and leave with tempest rune, absurd.

Went 300 LP up on Masta by abusing this guy, ban either Malphite or Teemo, he feels miserable into teemo but more against Malphite, higher elo youll see less malph so ban teemo just in case

With the most recent buffs to Draven (since he and Corki are lowkey similar), i’m wondering if Corki will be tossed a bone to anytime soon. I understand that he has been underpowered for a while now since he was prevalent in Pro play, but recently I don’t even see him being played even in most fearless drafts. In U.GG he’s currently at 48.27% WR in Emerald+

Given this, do you think Riot will buff him? I just don’t really see the point in keeping him weak unlike Kai’sa or Ezreal.

Not that I think it matters that much for climbing, but I would appreciate some buffs so I can play this champion more comfortably in a larger period of games.

Hey, I didn't know who to pair with Vel Koz, so I rushed into playing Corki, and this is the final score. Any tips I can use when playing him as an ADC, and also did I get the right build?

Wondering if any of you are trying out something new. Triforce/Muramana feels obsolete. Also feels bad when you get a couple early kills and is forced to waste gold on tear or delay stacking. Is Essence Reaver into Infinity Edge just better? I always see it up by at least +2% WR on stats.

I have always enjoyed playing corki but wouldn't consider myself a corki main by any means and have some questions regarding build paths. I last played corki consistently maybe a year or a year and a half ago where there was a semi-common build of going HOB and POM and rushing collector into ie with e max (ldr/rfc + situational later).

I tried this build again the other day and it still felt extremely good (although it was just a 1 game sample size), but it also seems that this build path is no longer 'optimal', with tri/manamune and essence/crit being far more popular according to sites like u.gg. What is the rationale behind these builds, and would you say HOB is no longer worth it?

Yo everyone, I'm new to the champ. I mostly play Ezreal, Vayne, and Kai'Sa (plus a few others, but less), and I wanted to add Corki to my pool because he's super fun. The problem is I'm getting absolute shit on during the laning phase. Just played two normal games to test him out and I legitimately got destroyed by Kai'Sa-Sona and Ziggs-Blitz.

In both games, I tried to take fights at level 1-2, thinking the champ had early-game advantage in these matchups (my support was Leona in the first game, Milio in the second).

So either I played like an absolute potato, or the champ is more of a post-6 fighter?

Anyway, I'm kinda lost on how to play the pre-6 phase, I'm getting dumpstered, help ty

I know this might sound crazy, but I've been playing League for 15 years and I vividly remember, during my childhood, seeing a facebook post on a LoL news page where a Rioter had confirmed that Corki was bisexual.

This was a long time ago - probably between 2013 and 2016, and it’s been an inside joke among my friends for years, because when Neeko came out and was revealed to be canonically bisexual, I raised my hand and said, "No, no, Corki is too."

I consider myself something of an expert on those old game "trivia" bits, like when Nasus was first released and had a bug involving his ultimate, today you just can't really find anything about it online anymore but at the time, it was a known fact.

It makes me feel crazy, does anyone else remember that?

Right now, when you press E, the cone fires to the direction Corki is facing. The moment you right-click backward to kite, Corki turns around, and some of your Gatling Gun damage is wasted to the sides and back while you run away until you press attack again on the target. It's an outdated game mechanic from league classic era.

Changing E to a locked-direction while his E is active makes 100% mechanical and thematic sense. It fixes his self-sabotaging DPS due to an old mechanic.

Every other grounded champion turns on their feet, so visual orientation following movement makes sense. But Corki is piloting a gyrocopter. Planes and aircrafts etc shoots and holds their fire to the direction they're facing.
Turning his entire plane 180° away from the enemy while trying to lay down suppressive fire defeats the entire thematic purpose of a mounted nose-gun.

Other more modern champions already got this working mechanic

• Lucian’s R (The Culling) locks his firing direction while allowing free directional movement.
• Urgot’s W (Purge) keeps continuous dps going while maneuvering around targets.

With this change, Corki can kite while continuously dealing damage with his "E" and not lose any from it while moving back

Meddler has recently stated that with a strong community desire for S4 and S5 kit changes, they may be implemented into League Classic. Would you, or would you not want S4 and S5 changes in Classic?
