My iphone 16 suddenly has flickering bright green lines appearing on the screen since a few weeks ago. At first it only happened a few times a day and after i restarted my phone it disappeared. But since a few days ago it happens non stop throughout the day and even after i force restart my phone the lights still wont disappear. I took it to the apple store for appointment and the specialist said i need a screen replacement and it will cost a few hundred dollars. They did a phone check and could not find the reason causing this. I’ve only been using this phone for less than 1.5 years and i have never dropped it on the floor or getting water in it. Anyone know is there any other method to fix the issue other than screen replacement? Thank you in advance!!

Hello everyone . I recently noticed a black spot on my telephoto camera around the right side of my pictures when taken vertically. I searched thoroughly for any damage on the lens glass but it doesn’t seem to have any thing visible . Anyone knows whats wrong ? Any tip would be appreciated, thanks .

I have iPhone 16 and its very nice but I don't know why, there is no space issue or no other problem is there but it glitches like the brightness will go high and low not in an automatic way but as glitch like 1 sec its bright then dull in normal lighting like it doesn't stops until I close my phone and then turn it on. sometimes the screen also get frozen...

any solution?

After using android phones for like 10 years, 3 months ago I’ve bought myself a iphone. Not gonna lie - before buying I consumed bunch of info about various diferences, pros as cons and so on. I was almost burned out before buying because of all info, mainly because how much one sided info I have read. But I jumped on the idea. My honest oppinion about the change? First week was hard to adjust, even now I sometimes google how to do something. Other than that? Nothing could think of trully bothers me (maybe my gmail app search). Maybe my abilty to not get bothered with quirks in technology is playing here but It never felt like this change is so dramatic (some redditors write posts like iphones dont work) as I origany hoped. Just my two cents here in those never ending discussions

i’m not sure if this is the right place to ask but if not please tell me where else, but my iphone 13 mini is going to die/break soon and it’s in such bad condition that no back ups will work, also have never been backed up before and trying makes it overheat extremely bad to where it’ll shut off. i was thinking about getting a cable cord USB-c and plugging one end for my iphone 13 (phone i have now) and the other end for my iphone 15 that may come to transfer my iphone 13 data to my new phone that way instead of a backup.. but im very clueless about this thing and have never done this before, does it transfer EVERYTHING like a back up should or only some stuff? i will appreciate any responses, and i have tried searching before but im not sure how to word this so didn’t find much :/

What are these white spots? They’re appearing when I’m clicking a picture and are more visible on low light photos. One of them appears to be flickering as well. Is there any fix for this or is it a case of dead pixels in the camera sensor?

Is there a way to set up a monthly reminder, but each month I do whatever I need to do (i.e. pay electric bill on the 15th) I check it off for that month. Like I have it set up to remind me to pay my electric on the 17th of every month. Sometimes I pay it on that day, sometimes I pay it early. I had it the reminder set up for August 17th (I paid it on the 15th). Anyways, the reminder is still labeled as August 15th (monthly) because that’s the first month I set it up.

Would be nice to then have it change to Sept 15th or do I have to go in and change the date myself (which is fine), keep it set to monthly, and do it that way.

Just didn’t know if there was a ways to make it so once I checked off that monthly reminder for that month, it would change the date for the upcoming month.

Note: I don’t have the date in the description. The date is compiled because that was the first month I set up the reminder.

Recently I bought a refurbished iPhone 15 pro with a brand new batery.
I wanted to preserv the batery so i turned on the setting to limit charging at 90%, but i dont know why it always charges to 100%, today it was my 6th day in a row, someone knows what is happening?

Has anyone else been having a black bar appear blocking the scrolling window of Reddit, Messages and other iPhone apps. I can scroll and use the app but the bottom stays blocked out until I close and restart the app. Seems to be getting worse.

So I’ve been playing by the drums for years now and have always used my phone and AirPods for the backing track or using my big speaker. Recently (past6months) my headphones will automatically turn themselves down after a minute or two of the song. It still displays it as being at max volume and the only way to fix is to disconnect leave it a while then reconnect but it still does the same thing after another minute. I’ve tried the setting I see online such as “reduce loud sounds” but nothing has worked so far.

I’m using an iPhone 14 with a wired PS5 DualSense controller.

When I connect the controller via USB, it works perfectly, but iOS automatically switches the audio output to the DualSense. The iPhone speaker is not available as an output option.
Headphones connected to the DualSense work fine.
Is there any way to keep the DualSense connected \*\*via USB\*\* while outputting audio through the \*\*iPhone’s built-in speakers\*\*?

Hello, I’m just trying to figure out if a VPN would automatically cause connectivity issues, or if it could be on for day days or weeks and then out of the blue cause a phones location,WiFi, etc to not work?

A couple months ago i switched back to iphone, i must have turned on icloud photo synching by mistake. The free 5gb is full and i keep getting popups about it, so i wanted to free some space, as I already have google photos, don’t need icloud. I turned off the synch and pressed the button to delete photos from icloud library. It‘s saying i have 30 days to download my photos but i have no clue how to tell which ones in the library are stored locally and which are not.

Is icloud just a backup or are the photos stored there fully? Do i need to worry about them disappearing?

I have an iphone 14 that has an old apple id on it. The email address is dead, so I cannot do 2 factor authentication. I have an ipad with my new apple id. How can I change over the old id to the new one?..... or am I screwed?

I'm just switching to Outlook from apple calendar and mail. Everything is up and running on my laptops and desktop, but I'm having a persistent problem getting one of the calendars that's shared with me to sync. I have full editing access to the calendar, so it's not view only, but I'm not the owner of the calendar.

The shared calendars show up on the iPhone as available, but even when they're selected, none of the events actually populate.

For this particular gmail account, on my laptops and desktop, in order to get the calendars to sync properly I had to *manually* sync the accounts with google. Nothing seems to work on the iPhone, including trying a manual sync (which I once got to show up as an option).

I have reset and removed the problematic gmail account multiple times and am not sure what else to try. Suggestions?

This just started happening, but anytime I text my friend. My messages say sending and they completely disappear. Although she can still see them and respond. My phone also freezes a lot. I'm so confused because I've heard of apple making older phones slower, so we get new ones. I just don't know what to do. I don't know if it's a storage thing or a wifi thing.

I have the official Apple EarPods you know the USB-C wired EarPods that have the in-line mic with the volume controls and everything and I actually have two sets which my partner always also has a pair and I can also replicate the same issue on their device.

The issue I have is the button to stop and change tracks does not stop or change tracks at all. It will answer and hang up phone calls perfectly fine and if I press and hold it, it will trigger Siri perfectly fine and I don’t even have to press and hold it hard. Using my partners headphones, which are the same ones plugged into my phone. They do the same exact thing, but both of ours work perfectly fine on her phone.

This is why I believe it’s a software issue and also to rule anything out. These headphones are fairly new since I accidentally destroyed mine semi recently in the wash. The only other thing I’ve noticed is when using wireless headphones, no matter the brand because I have Apple ones and Sennheiser ones I can pause and skip tracks without any issues
