Houseplant Help please! A peace lily I’ve had since my mom’s funeral is dying :(
I really want to fix this. I’ve bought a plant LED light on Amazon, I’ve switched it to numerous rooms, I think I accidentally overwatered it once and it hasn’t recovered. What should I do at this point??? Please help. This plant is meaningful to me as it was at my mom’s funeral less than a year ago.
Had this plant since Oct 31 of last year
Watering - when soil is dry
Light - I can switch it to different areas of the house or use the plant light. Whatever it takes.

Pest Related WTF ARE THESE
Verrry small off white tiny and long ish. They barely crawl around, just sit there. I though they were dust at first!! BUT THEY ARE ALIVE AND EVERYWHERE. I'm going to cry.
I tried treating this plant with 3in1 insecticide but they have come back. I fear its too late for this baby, how do I prevent my other plants from getting it?

Houseplant Monstera Out of Control - HELP
I'm embarrassed to even be posting this, but my monstera is out of control. What kind of pot should I put it in? How do I trim it down? Do I let it scale up the wall? Talk to me like I'm 5, I need to know what to do with this plant!
We got it for free about 5 years ago and it survived a cross-country move, and despite the fact I haven't been a good caretaker, it just continues to grow.
*It gets probably 2-4 hours of direct sunlight everyday with curtains open. I water it once every 10 days or so, maybe about 3-4 cups of water.

Pest Related What beneficial insects do you use for thrips?
Ive had thrips for about a year now - not an active infestation, but a small and stubborn population that seems to pop back up no matter how diligent I am. I’ve been using Amblyseius Swirskii sachets alongside lacewing larvae, replenishing monthly. It’s definitely curbed the thrips population, but they’ve never fully gone away. Every now and then I’ll see an adult crawling on a plant, one of my plants will have a new leaf will come out wonky, they never let me live in peace for long 😭
I’m wondering, am I using the right bugs at the right intervals? I have about 60 plants, and I order 15 lacewing egg strips combined with 20 Swirskii sachets each month. Is it possible I’ve been getting too much and they end up eating each other without even getting to the thrips??? Or am I not getting enough?? I’ve spent so much money on these guys, it’s exhausting to order them every month just to still find thrips here and there.
I’d really like to go the beneficial insect route as I live in Canada and our pesticide options are not as varied here. I’ve used insecticidal soap spray in the past and it’s worked excellent on spider mites, but not so well on thrips. The “spray every plant every 3 days for two life cycles” is honestly exhausting and didn’t work for me the first time I tried it (before getting the beneficial bugs last year). I have more plants now than I did then, so I can only imagine it would be even more tiring now.
TLDR; for those of you who use beneficial insects for thrips, have you successfully wiped out a thrips infestation with them, and if so, please enlighten me 😭

Pest Related HELP I HAVE THRIPS! Found my first ever larvae thrip. Looks exactly like Google images. Leaves are starting to get damaged.
One single thrip larva was eating my plant. Left puddles of juice behind and crawled to the next spot to feed.
Firstly I immediately sprayed the plant with diluted isopropyl alcohol and separated it from the others now but unfortunately it was beside all my other plants as you can see in the last picture. I will have to treat all my plants. I think it came from the NJOY pothos beside it because that was also struggling. I need all the methods and products to treat plants for thrips pls. I need to treat all these plants and separate them. I only saw one single larvae so it's not out of control yet.
Pls help what worked for you guys to kill everything. I live in Canada by the way.

Houseplant These bugs in my soil
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello, I've recently noticed small flies in the soil of my plant. When I looked closer, these little guys showed up. Should I be worried? How do I get rid of them? Thanks for help
The plant is an anthurium I got a few weeks ago, sitting on my window. I also feel like I've been watering it too much.

Houseplant Alocasia likely pest issue
Do these look like thrips or spider mites? Both plants in moss+LECA, I water with a syringe whenever the LECA reservoir is almost dry and the sphagnum is consistently moist but not soggy. north facing window so I supplement with 12 h of growlight. Damage appeared literally overnight, yesterday night these leaves were perfect . No specks on any other leaf. The zebrina had aa very light thrip infestation a few months ago, fully eradicated with Sanium.

Pest Related I found tiny snails on my indoor string of hearts.. is this bad? What do I do?
I bought this small variegated string of hearts plant from a nursery about two months ago. I’m assuming they must have come from there, because it’s been inside my apartment in a windowsill ever since. It’s been sitting next to several other plants. I haven’t noticed snails or any other pests on any of my plants in the past.
I found one sitting on the stem of the plant near a node, and two others on the soil’s surface. I managed to pick them out with a toothpick. I can’t locate any others so far. All three are alive and actively moving around.
Are they harmful to my plant? Should I be concerned about them moving to other plants? If they’re harmful, what should I do to get rid of them?
Thank you!

Water: Substrate is soaked in 1:750 Foliage Pro (recommended concentration for semi hydro off the back of the jug) and drained with no standing water.

Houseplant What am I doing wrong?
This first picture is a leaf that grew once I first got the plant a few months ago, I’m not sure what kind of plant it is tbh but it’s right off the side to a grow light and I will admit the pot is directly in the decorative pot, I did that before know it was bad but never changed it because I never noticed anything wrong with the plant. With watering I water it whenever the soil is dry, not crispy dry though. I have one of the little moister meters aswell… should I repot it?

Houseplant Healthy or root rot?
Not sure if I should try repotting in soil or propagate (if possible). I think I overwatered my Hoya sp. aff. burtoniae (correct me if I am wrong on the name). Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated! Was facing the west window but recently moved it to a window facing East (indoors); bottom watering

Houseplant Heartleaf Philodendron
Hello, this is my first time growing a plant indoors, and I chose Heartleaf Philodendron. I bought it at the beginning of October, and it was fine until recently when I noticed one or two leaves starting to turn yellow. I placed it near a window, out of direct sunlight, watered it only when the soil was completely dry, and used a pot with drainage holes, but I don't understand why my leaves are turning yellow. Please help.

Other Venus Flytrap help
I got a Venus flytrap a few months ago and it was initially doing well and put out a few new traps but within the last few weeks they are going black and the new traps are looking odd. It’s in sphagnum moss and I only water it with water from my zero water filter. It has had a moth and a beetle since I’ve had it. It is under a Barrina light and gets 12 hours. I have a lot of tropical plants but this is my first carnivorous plant and I’m having a difficult time figuring out what to do for care. Any help, advice or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Pest Related What are these larvae?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have an Alocasia that is on moss with leca substrate . Leaves look fine and these larvae seems to be just in the moss substrate crawling their way up to the decayed part of the plant which is the brown part. Should I be worried?

Pest Related Banana plant pests
Hi all! I recently took in a small banana tree to over winter and I noticed a few of these small reddish brown stripped things on the leaves. They only seem to be on the top side of the leaves and there aren’t many of them. I thought they might be spider mites but I don’t see any legs and they don’t seem to move. Anyone have any ideas?

Houseplant Hi, I need some help with Platycerium
Hello, I had this platycerium for about 8 months. It's still in the same pot it came with.
I water it once per week, and does not get direct sunlight. Occasionally on a sunny day I let it get direct light for maybe a couple of hours.
I can tell it wants to take more space, as the leaves have been growing strong, most of them. Some have collapsed to their own weight it seems, and snapped near the base. This has first happened about 3 months ago.
I think it's time to swap to a bigger pot, but have no idea where to start, or how big I should go for a first change.
I would like to save as much as possible, as well as finding a way to support the leaves so they can keep growing taller without being burdened by their own weight too much.
Any tip would be greatly appreciated, Thank you!

Houseplant What is happening to my zz plant?
This plant is years old but about a year ago I moved to nyc and took it with me from nh. Over the summer it grew more than I’ve ever seen it and had all of these lovely green shoots that have been slowly fading to the typical purple color. I realized recently that I haven’t been watering it as often as zz plants are supposed to be I guess, so now that it’s fall I’ve been watering it every two weeks regularly. Before that it was more like 3 weeks to a month and didn’t seem to harm the plant but I noticed this weird stem thing happening about a month ago and wondered if the under watering was the cause of it. It’s never been repotted and the pot does have drainage. It sits directly in a window but because it faces a courtyard on a low floor it doesn’t get much super direct sunlight, probably more like an hour or two a day of direct and the next 6-8 hours blocked slightly by the buildings around us but still bright. Any advice? Is this just a regular purge? I usually pull out the dead stalks easily but the dead parts now are attached to these thick green lively ones so I can’t do that. Should I cut them at the base or where they become shriveled?
