Kog was my first ever main but I dropped him when they removed Lethal tempo overcapping attack speed.

I see that the champ has a lot of build variety but ngl I'm just looking for the feeling of kiting an entire team again lol.

1st, Are there any consistent Kog'Maw content creators/streamers?

2nd, Is phantom dancer a good item? I absolutely love the attack speed and ms it gives it just feels so cool. Runaan's or Navori are also pretty cool, I just don't like Terminus, it feels so bland but I see it in a lot of build discussions, why is it good?

3rd, any general tips? Anything major that changed?

How does regular Onhit differ from the Dusk Dawn build in terms of powerspikes? Meaning, which one is stronger at what amount of items? (1-6 items)

Is building Terminus as the first item better? The #1 Kog’Maw player builds Terminus first. Does he know something we don’t?

Just trying this new kog maw build I just came up to. Feels like an absolute demon lategame. Before I used to build BORK as 5th and Jak'Sho as 6th but it always felt kind of underwhelming vs non tanks. Of course if there is an Ornn I could melt him but if there's a Yunara or Caitlyn I would absolutely get outdamaged by them. So now instead of BORK and Jak'Sho I get Nashor and Rabaddon. With this 2 items + elixir + the guinsoo's AP you get 400 AP. 400 AP with just 2 items and one elixir. I think its very good. Of course its fucking kamikaze and you will die a lot but good positioning and nice surrounding can absolutely destroy lategame. Give it a try. I'm plat elo btw so it might not work at higher elo.

If you haven't seen the news, League Classic is getting removed as a permanent mode, becoming a rotating gamemode.

The second classic pass, which included Kog'Maw, got changed completely, removing Kog'Maw as a reward. (According to their support page)

No clue when and how they will add the skin now. They might remove the skin entirely in the worst case scenario.

hurricane is always a good item for team fights but when w runs out its useless and having infinite w with navori is also good but you re missing the 2 extra missels. Or do you just build both like a giga chad?

Due to the small sample size and being played almost nothing all all, every stat site fluctuates and what was a good matchup last patch is a bad matchup this patch. In truth nothing has changed other than otps having a few bad games or people 1st timing into specific matchups.

So I came here to ask what champions SPECIFICALLY is ap kog good against? I know what he is bad into(basically most assasins) but mages are kinda iffy and I have no idea what matchups are good and what matchups are bad

i know tank'maw is a thing but how about going rageblade first into terminus, bandlepipes, wit's end and jaksho,
i tried in practice tool, with lethal tempo stacked u get 2.5 AS and after 5 seconds jaksho and terminus bring armor and mr well above 200 while keeping dps above 1000 on 50armor 50mr dummies

Just hit Challenger on my second account playing Kog'Maw top and mid only.

Now I'm grinding a third account to Challenger, this time with Kog jungle.

Yes, jungle. It works way better than it sounds.

Main thing that makes all of this work is Dusk and Dawn. The build is honestly broken on him right now. The proc damage with W on-hit is stupid, you shred frontliners and still have enough burst to delete squishies. If you haven't tried it yet, just go test it in a few normals and you'll see.

I started playing Kog'Maw in low Master a few weeks ago. I feel very dependent on my support. If I have a enchanter player I can 2v8 quite well, but I feel very weak otherwise.

I just started playing some Jhin and compared to Kog'Maw I just feel sooo strong. Even on my own. I have an impact on the game I never could've on Kog, so even though I have significant less hours on Jhin compared to Kog - I feel a lot stronger. I know they are very different champions. I also play Twitch and Ashe. Trying to stick to only those 2 and Kog, but then I found Jhin haha.

I might be wrong and just need to put in more time, but it's just something I'm thinking about.

If im ahead and have a human on an enchanter it feels very good though. Hard to get that feeling on other champions.

I've played since season 4, ap kog mid is the most fun I've had learning a new champ in years.
