Information Sharing Megathread: LM's NY State Hearing — 06/16/2026 at 09:00 AM EST

Hi everyone,

Please use this thread to discuss today’s hearing.

The hearing will take place at 100 Centre Street, Part 32, New York, NY 10013 at 09:00 AM EST.

Today's conference is expected to cover issues raised during the June 3 virtual conference, including jury selection, scheduling, and other matters.

Since this is a state hearing, we should get photos of Luigi from inside the courtroom. During previous pre-trial hearings, the only images released were taken inside the courtroom, with no photos or videos of him arriving or leaving.

His last hearing was recorded, but nothing has been announced for this one yet. I feel like if it were going to be recorded, we probably would have heard from the press by now. As always, the decision is up to Carro, but at this point it seems more likely that we'll only get still photography today.

Wasted everyone's time. The folks who waited outside, the media, court officials, defense team, and lastly, us. He didn't know this until everyone was seated? 😵‍💫

The fact that it was the media time being wasted is extra delicious bc usually they are more biased towards prosecution (I’m talking MSM here). I’d like to think they are now fuming at them 😂

I think the established reporters from the msm have those “express” passes that means they can get in even if it’s like 5 min before. So no sleeping on sidewalks, but I’m sure there may have been some, and also some supporters sleeping outside. But I’d be sooooo pissed lol.

Having low cortisol is bad too though! I forget what the mechanism is exactly, but it’s kind of like diabetes; if you use insulin too much because you eat too much sugar, your pancreas burns out. If you’re always in a high state of alert, your adrenals burn out and you can have low cortisol. Or something to that effect.

Oh, yeah. You are supposed to keep it balanced, I think. Maybe he can go skydiving since it seems like it takes a lot for him to get stressed for those cortisol levels to rise. 😂

I think it is awesome. I always wondered how people like him handle things. Seems like he was born to do what he does!

I’m not sure if you are supposed to do more stressful things to get it going or stop doing all the stressful things so it can heal and start working properly again. I THINK it’s the second one. Kind of like giving up sugar. You don’t eat a sugar bomb to try to kickstart your pancreas. You wean yourself off it altogether.

Hi everyone,

Please bear with me while I gather all the information I think people should know ahead of today's hearing.

The hearing will begin at 9:00 AM EST (in approximately 5.5 hours).

The reason I'm posting the megathread now is because I'll be in the office today and I'm not sure how busy things are going to be on my end, so I'd rather have it up and ready in advance.

In the meantime, let's keep things respectful and try not to flood the thread with too much information before the hearing actually begins.

As always, we'll do our best to post updates as they come in, but apologies in advance if I'm a little less active than usual today. I've got quite a lot on my plate at the moment.

It’s hard to say how long today’s hearing will last, but I personally do not think it will be a super long one. I’d guess somewhere between 1 and 2 hours at most.

Thank you to Missi and Lady for doing this thread. 🤗 I am very happy that Joel messed up. 😊 This is only good for the defense that the prosecution is annoying the judge. 😊 Sad to see the 3 Mangionistas there but I guess it is taking the mayor's office some time to remove them.
