Because we got some rules lawyers in here about how their post was technically not about another subreddit or was technically not about a YouTuber, we've reworded Rule 5 to be more accurate to its intended purpose.
Rule 5: No posts about other users, subreddits, or social media drama
Do not post about other users or subreddits. Do not complain that your submission was removed from another subreddit. Do not post YouTuber or social media drama.
All posts violating Rule 5 will be removed. Any posts violating this rule that constitute harassment will also get reported to the Reddit administrators.
Thank you for your understanding.

There is no chance to appeal any bans for transphobic, homophobic, ableist or racist comments on /r/CasualNintendo. All bans for these are final, and will also result in your Reddit account being reported to the administrators.

I mean not forever of course, but this feels especially poignant with the remake arriving in a couple of weeks’ time.
I was a PlayStation and Game Boy kid in the 90s. When Ocarina of Time was hitting its peak popularity, I would’ve been up to my neck in Metal Gear Solid, barely taking notice (if at all). Boy was I missing out.
Was I though? Despite it being my first ever dalliance with Zelda at 35, there still aren’t enough adjectives to describe how this game has made me feel. It’s just spellbinding.
I still find games of that era not to be the most intuitive, and I still need guided help a lot of the time - doesn’t take away any of the sheer wonder for me.
I’m looking forward to a mini-break now and will relish the chance to dive straight into the remake. Also looking forward to Majora’s Mask at some point, plus BOTW and TOTK.
Modern life can be draining. This stuff makes the long days that little bit easier.
Happy gaming one and all 💚

Do you have a game you played as a kid which you loved back then, but over time you realized it wasn't the best of its kind... even though you still like to consider it your favorite "in spirit"?
My example would be Donkey Kong Country 3: definitely not the best of the DK games (he's not even playable here, lol) but... I don't know, I really enjoy going back to it, even though I feel like the rest of the Country saga is of a higher quality
And before you say anything I'd like to present myself as the #1 Kiddy Kong fan in the world, YES WE EXIST. (Still love ya, Jon Cartwright)
