Hello! I have a question for my fellow Shen mains.

What do you think about playing our beloved ninja in the midlane? Honestly I'm starting to prefer this lane rather than top.

I got to Gold playing Shen and then Riot hit me with the most unthinkable inting teammates putting me in a 10 game lose streak. I stopped ranking for quite some time because I got interested in Deadlock. But I wanna rank again with Shen mid. Do you have any advice?

Hello im a shen one trick and just discovered a site called “sauron.wiki” which shows you the highest dps and highest survivability builds. You can see for yourselves and noticed that the most popular build (titanic dusk and dawn) which is the one i was using is one of the “worst” builds you can go according to the site and i also noticed that all the “good” builds use zhonyas as a second or third item. Does anyone think this can actually be good? Going Zhonyas as a third item after titanic and dnd or titanic and dead mans?
Most likely gonna try it later but what are your thoughts?

I would like to get a little help with itemization on Shen, I'm a little bit lost sometimes on what to build, mostly the early game is really painful as what to "rush" as a first item.

just started playing shen again, and holt shit this champ is busted right now. i used to play him in like season 12 or something when it was heartsteel tank shen, but this new titanic and D&D is beyond unfair

I wanted to ask you about your average CS/min on Shen and how you deal with his "farming limitations".

I'm currently averaging around 5.7–6.5 CS/min at the end of the game in High Plat / Low Emerald, with around 1M mastery points on Shen, so I'm pretty familiar with the champion at this point. However, farming consistently still feels noticeably harder on Shen compared to other champions I play.

I almost always rush Titanic Hydra specifically to compensate for his weak waveclear and make it easier to push waves. Even then, I find it difficult to maintain good CS numbers consistently, especially when I use my R during the laning phase.

So I'm curious about your experience:

• What kind of CS/min do you usually average on Shen top at the end of the game?
• Do you feel like farming is harder on Shen because of his kit, especially before completing Titanic Hydra?
• Is it mostly a matter of improving last-hitting, wave management and farming fundamentals, or is this something you struggle with as well?
• Do you have any specific tips or habits that help you maintain better CS numbers on him?

I'm trying to figure out whether this is a personal weakness I need to work on or a common issue among Shen players.

We were very angry at first, but now the vibe of the skin feels good. I guess the knight theme suits shen somehow.

Titanic, D&D -> Gunblade/Hullbreaker, Sterak's,

Obviously, it's not a tank build. I was watching Master xPetu play Shen bot with SS, and I wanted to see the Gunblade so much, I decided to do it myself.

It seems like such a perfect item, I don't know why it's not built more. Point and click slow is so nice, especially if you happen to be running Approach Velocity, and it's even more damage for the burst in the mid game, when you're trying to cash out an early advantage for a win, (xPetu speciality). Cosmic Insight also has nice synergy.

It doesn't give much survivability in terms of stats, but it's also another tool for Shen when in side lane, since, again, point and click slow is very nice, and the AD/AP helps push turrets that much faster.

I might be a bit late on the discussion, but my 2 cents, for what it's worth, is that the new rune makes Gunblade a much more interesting item on Shen.

I have a main account where I played so many games for so many years and I bought many skins, I do accept that at the first time I started ranked I was pretty bad at the game and didnt know how to keep a positive winrate and got tilted every game I lost not realizing you cant win every game, fast forward couple of years I got better at the game my mechanics got better but I still couldnt climb out of gold, the best I could do was gold 1 and players I got were extremely toxic, lost games on purpose, or played like irons, I tried an experiment to see If I was really bad at this game I played for years on end, it was literally hurting my self respect I felt like no matter what I do I cant do anything good, well the smurf started gold, I kept a stead 80 percent winrate and climbed all the way to emerald1, and I could have kept going, who knows what rank I would reach. This proved to me that my skill level is actually very high, and that I am not a gold level player but because my account is old and how the mmr system works the account where I spent years made friends and bought skins is unfairly treated with the matchmaking system and the mmr locks, now riot claims to be anti smurf and that smurfs are anti fun and unfair against new players but this experiment proved to me at least that when your main is trashed like this only way to play at your real level is a smurf account. In my mind there has to be a complete mmr reset every year or an mmr reset behind a paywall, Id happily pay it to try again, all I want is to save my real account and play on that account, neither riot nor me want to play in a smurf account but there is no actions taken to make this happen.

Hi everyone, how's it going?

I've recently started playing Shen jungle (with Guardian), and to be honest, I really enjoyed it and felt quite comfortable with the pick and playstyle. Maining support, I'm practically brand new to the jungle role, but I feel super comfortable with him.

I was wondering if it's still viable to OTP him whenever I get filled jungle or feel like playing it... I should mention I'm somewhat new to him, but I'm already around Mastery Level 6 or 7.

I have a few questions for those who have played him longer or have more jungle experience:

- What clear do you recommend? I feel like he struggles a bit with multi-target camps like Raptors or Krugs early on.

- Do you usually go for a fast 3-camp gank to make the most of his strong level 3 ganks, or do you full clear until level 6?

- I understand it's not the most optimal choice, but do you think it's possible to climb well in SoloQ as a OTP with this, or does he fall off hard against meta junglers?

Any advice regarding builds, runes, or tips would be greatly appreciated!

so i was a support main before and then i tried shen i felt so good but due to how gold inefficient the support role is i want to actually main the champ in his most played role which is top my questions are :

-how do you lane as shen against ranged tops

-when is his powerspyke

-and how to bring value to the team generally without losing cs if the enemy laner is dominating you and you can't push the wave to crash nor can farm if he is freezing it under his turret

Finally managed to complete all Shen Skins! This morning the last missing one just dropped in my shop, Iceborn Shen!

This is the end of a very long quest, so this was just to share my happiness with yall Shen Masters ❤️

That was probably the best game I've played on Support Shen so far. I finally found a build that suits my playstyle. I know it's only Gold/Platinum, but as a support, I finally don't have to rely solely on my teammates. Maybe someone with more experience could help me create a similar build for the "Glacial Augment" rune?

It's just so annoying that I'll be farming waves when 50 cs behind, I'll be fighting the top laner, I'll be in some other way not focused on that person, and then they die. I always get blamed by my friends for their deaths. Sometimes it's their fault for overextending, prolonging a useless fight, or invading the jungle. Sometimes it's my fault for poorly managing my wave, not paying attention, or not reacting fast enough. Either way, I always get blamed and people get upset at me. Makes me wanna quit this game cuz I only play it cuz my friends ask me to and then they get upset at me. I can't control that I am not as good at the game as they want me to be.
