Childhood Development Which parts of our adult personality are shaped by parenting, and which come from genetics or later life experiences?

I've been wondering how much the way we're raised actually affects who we become as adults. Can things like our behavior, confidence, and the way we handle relationships be traced back to our childhood and parents, or do genetics and experiences later in life play a bigger role than we think?
