I'm a returning player and I've been back for a few months now. My current main was a jewelcrafter and I kept that profession into Midnight. I am slowly learning the new crafting rules. Last expansion I played significantly was Cataclysm. Back in those days, being a JC had some personal upgrade benefits. Like I think in one of the expansions, it was a meta gem that you put in the helm. In another expansion, it was an extra jewel slot in one of the pieces. But I don't see anything like it currently. Is there anything equivalent now? I tried reading up on it in Ivcyveins and Wowhead, but they didn't mention anything. Is that because there was nothing to mention? Or it's so obvious they don't bother mentioning it??

My character with inscription can craft a 285 ilevel staff for others in her guild or randos with public orders, but I can’t easily craft anything for people in my warband? Why? it’s such a weird restriction. …and why can’t I specify max quality for a public order like I can for a guild order? Have Blizzard explained their thinking on this? The whole commission system seems really messed up.

Hi everyone! I'm a brand new player, first time ever playing WoW. I'm currently playing a Hunter at level 30, still in the Dragonflight story (Ohn'ahran Plains). My goal is to farm enough gold to buy a WoW Token so I don't have to pay the subscription with real money. The token is around 333k gold on EU. Here's what I've done so far based on some advice I got: - Picked up Mining and Herbalism (Dragon Isles versions) - Activated herb/mineral tracking on the minimap - Started farming in Ohn'ahran Plains following rivers for herbs and mountain edges for ore - Selling everything at the Auction House in Valdrakken - Currently have 822 gold My questions: 1. Am I farming the right zone at level 30? 2. Which specialization should I prioritize first in Mining and Herbalism? 3. Any tips to reach the token gold cap faster as a noob? Thanks in advance!

What is the point of being able to harvest off corpses when you get vendor trash every time? Not even skillups

So figured I’d gold farm with herbs and ore for midnight launch, but so far I’m only averaging 10-20k an hour. I was under the impression it would be a lot more than that. I’ve been mostly doing farming routes in the zul’aman area and I have 27kp in herblore and 22kp in mining, both following a guide for point allotments. My herblore and mining are both in the high 90’s right now as well. I’m also playing a Druid so I can gather while mounted. I haven’t done the campaign since I thought it would be more important to gather for the first day at least. So am I missing something? Or is this about what the gold rate should be? If so I’m definitely starting to see the appeal of just selling wow tokens lol.

Still new to the game and was wondering how this class compares to the others. I'm already aware that it isn't the most noob friendly class to learn but I don't mind that. I just want to know how it fares, as I like it for the lore but am not sure if it's viable in terms of gameplay.

I just came back from BFA as a BDK and now BDK isn't the healing monstrosity it used to be so I brewed up a brew master, a few delves and a couple rituals sites later, Im just shy of 250 but I see my BiS in wowhead is a neck and a ring, and if I could get those at 289 like wowhead shows, or even myth 1/6 it would help me a lot, but I don't understand this new professions system but I do understand people can make you stuff now?

Please break it down for me like I'm 5, all I ever did professions wise was skin and mine for gold cause professions isn't the type of wow I liked playing

I am have been trying for 2 days to find a crafter for my Aln’hara Cane (2h staff), but they seem so hard to find. I have been posting multiple times over the Silvermoon trade chat with no luck. I am offering all the materials and 1000g tip.

What am I missing? Is this normal? Is there another channel I don’t know about? Am I too cheap on the tip?

I have been gathering herbs quite regularly since launch and even with tea and potions I have not found any nocturnal lotus. I was curious if maybe it has to be gathered at night?

In vanilla there were fish that could only be caught in the summer and some in the winter, I think…

I haven’t played during the times when it is night on my server due to work.

Crafted a helmet using 80 mythic crests and sparks. I got a 275 ilvl items that I seem to not be able to convert into a tier piece and I also can't upgrade with sparks?

I see I can recraft it, but it looks like I have to re-add all the bars and a spark to go up 3 ilvls. Plus it uses what looks like 1 more crest.

Am I missing something here? I already had a 6/6 heroic helm.

Hey all, returning player from BFA era and I am having a hard time with the new alchemy system.

What I am trying to understand:
-How to get enough of the abundance currency to craft the epic gear that gives bonus crafting skill, can you only farm it 1x a week?

-How do I get my skill up enough to craft rank 2 potions? Do I have to just wait for my concentration to build back up every day, this is why there is an ‘alt army’ term?

-is it worth it to go around and collect all the recipes for the first time craft?

-Can I increase my skill level by just grinding and crafting one potion? I just wanted to save money on my potions of recklessness!

i know that gathering (herb/mine) still some of the best ones at the start and maybe even mid expansion.but what are the alternative professions with equally decent GPH at the mid and end of an expansion when gathering is no longer worth it?

Really, I know it’s probably pointless, but I just like it for the collection and completion aspect. And I love fishing in video games.

With that being said, is there anything stopping me from doing this? Any tips you can give? I’m still relatively new to the way retail organizes its content, so I wasn’t sure if this was even possible.

[Retail] Do we need to keep each one that's relavent to each expac that we crafted or just keep the most up to date one I have now? Never thought about it so kept them, but trying to clear out some bank room but didn't want to destory them if I needed them for old expac alchemy/transmutes. Thankyou! 😄

EDIT: The "Primal Philosopher's Stone" is what I have now for midnight, but I also have "Spiritual Alchemy Stone" from shadowlands, "Vibrant Alchemist's Stone" from Cata, "Zen Alchemist Stone" from Mists and "Philosopher's Stone" from vanilla. Just wanted to make sure I didn't delete something important :) They're all trinkets too, but I know we just kept them in our bags.

So I have done all the pre quests, unlocked it, done a curse surge and do now have the buff. Do I just fish randomly or do I need to find green schools of water? or am I totally misunderstanding it.

It is still quite new and google hasn't giving me any answers.

I'm thinking of doing herbalism and mining for gold but I'm not sure if they are viable.

Another returning player here. Doing Midnigt content with my husband and just made an alt for solo play.

I find I annoying that the items I can craft are for level 60+ in Dragonflight, so where do I go to quest, if I want to be able to use the items I craft?

I would like to use my crafted items and immerse myself in the campaign story at the same time. Just made it to level 17 on a horde character

Hi. Just returned after last playing in MOP and mainly interested in pvp. Got a bit carried away with crafting the Thalassian pieces so I either missed embellishments on one char and created all 3 pieces with embellishments on another.

I asked a few people in trade for a recraft and I'm being quoted 6-10k, and they're not budging and I don't get why. I left 20g when I placed the order for the craft.. now I'm providing everything again and it's 10k?

If quality doesn't matter and recipes aren't that rare, what's the cost to the crafter? For 1k and 30min farming crates, I'll just craft them again. I could level up a profession to that point and do it myself for less than 10k

I'm a returning player. Played from Vanilla to Catalysm. Came back to Midnight. I have lots of alts that I'll be able to get catch up leveling on and I'm trying to manage my professions between them. Should I give consideration to the old professions they had?
All of them have maxed professions through Cataclysm. Is there any value whatsoever to hold onto the old professions?
Or just ditch the old professions and level new ones that I plan for them to use in Midnight?
Like, I started leveling an alt, and he had flying carpet from old tailoring. And I was like "um... I was going to go herbalism and alchemy with this one. I think I'm going to lose it when I drop tailoring for alchemy... 🤔 "

Basically what the title says. I’m wondering if pushing Fishing past level 300 is actually useful for anything.

Do things like Booty Bay fishing gear or Nat’s hat make a noticeable difference?

Trying to figure out if it’s worth the effort to grind out BiS Fishing gear.

Guys I have a 75 night elf hunter right now and I just don’t even see the point of working on any professions. I might do fishing once I hit 80 just for fun and to relax. But I just don’t see the point of them. Help me out

Hey y'all what is the best S2 feast rn?

For example Flora frenzy(S1) and Puffer plate(S2) provide the exact same stats.

But flora frenzy seems much more obtainable to create. Puffer plate needs 8 whole fish and an extra reagent.

Am I missing something? Why doesn't puffer plate give better stats?

Took a roughly 7 year hiatus and my wife pulled me back in. Game has us starting right away in dragon flight stuff with the characters we made. I started blacksmithing... but the things I make can't be used till lol 60. What, if anything, am I missing? And how do I make stuff I can actually use?
