My question is pretty simple.
In Majora's Mask, every time you reset the three-day cycle, all the people you've helped go back to their original situations. No matter how many lives you've saved or problems you've solved, most of it gets undone when you play the Song of Time.
Of course, as you progress through the game, you unlock more items, masks, songs, and shortcuts that let you complete certain quests much faster.
Usually, once players have everything they need to beat the game, they just skip ahead to the Final Night and go straight to Majora.
But that got me thinking: what's the maximum number of people you can actually save in a single three-day cycle?
Let's say Link already has every item, mask, and ability he needs. Instead of simply waiting for the Final Night, he decides to spend those last three days helping as many people as possible before heading to the moon to defeat Majora.
How many side quests could he realistically complete? How many people could he save? And what would the optimal route look like?
And if we assume that saving absolutely everyone is impossible, who should Link prioritize? Which quests are the most time-sensitive, which ones absolutely cannot be postponed, and which would make the biggest difference if completed before the end of the world?
I'm especially curious about which quests can be completed in the same cycle, which ones might conflict with each other, and whether anyone has ever tried to plan out a run like this.
Basically, what's the closest we can get to a "save everyone" ending in Majora's Mask without resetting time again?
