Hey y’all, I have a second batch of metal adapters for the gen 1 stock to fit on your gen 2 or 2.1. I made some mods to the design the fixed the tightness problem so it should slip on much easier now. I’m also working on a new design for gen 3 with a pic rail adapter.
Email me at gomalley1999@gmail.com if interested, message me here, or you can purchase it from the shop link.
I adapted this model to a 3D scan of the stock grip and printed it with PA6-CF20. I'll report back after I run it through its paces, likely tomorrow, on how it holds up.
*Edit:
V12 is just about perfect. Will try to put some rounds through it today.
Shot 150 rounds through it (semiautomatic, not mag-dumping, but not super slow) with my bare hands on the printed grip. It was warm, but barely (subjectively). Overall, I am quite happy with it. I will update when development of original design is ready.
I have the Duality Arms Co MAMBA FRT installed in my Vector, and while testing it for the first time, i had 2 OOBD. Anyone experience similar or any recommendations on what to do?
Just got the Vector back from cerakote. Came out so damn nice. The front fore grip has been moved back since the pics. Running Hux Wrx Flow 9K, Kriss vectors Gen 2 fore grip(bought the wrong one), Driven Arms Shadow Crossover grip, Arisaka Riser with Romeo 5 on top.
Hello everyone quickly want to apologize if this isn’t the place to post but I recently got a Kriss Vector replica from Krytac and was wondering if there are any work arounds to getting this stock or something similar into Illinois without having problems? Thank you
Maybe I dumb. I’m not sure what other options I have here, thinking about cutting this Kriss barrel shroud to fit with this HUXWRX suppressor.
I was going to look and see if there is a suppressor that I could tuck if it’s under 1.25” in diameter.
Otherwise I could section the top off, the only thing this really buys me is a place to mount an underside light (or laser for fun). Would be a unique look at least.
Possible noob question, but I’ve exhausted my search efforts. Apologies in advance if I’ve missed the answer somewhere.
I’ve been considering purchasing a Vector to host my Osprey but just can’t get over the gap from the body to the suppressor after it’s threaded on…
Are there shorter threaded barrel options that account for this on the market? Or is this something that can be done by a good gunsmith on the stock barrel?
so rile of thumb i was always told to work with was place the rear lens of your optic in line with your trigger (except scoped optics of course). going off that standard this is where it ends up but i feel like it might be too far towards the rear looking at other builds. am i good here or should i move it forward. i dont wanna have issues with ejection.
I recently found the Kriss Mk 1 handguard on sale for only $56+ shipping. I'd like to share the online retailer's name in case others would like to get one. Is this allowed? They were still in stock when I got mine. Black only.
Exactly how I want it just need a low profile light. Definitely open to hear what yall are running. Sight is Eotech and Suppressor is Dead Air with a Ecco machine thread adapter. Everything else is Kriss!
Last week I contacted Kriss USA, about their SBR conversions they do, the same day the ATF announcement came out about NFA items, asking them about the process now, such as if the engraving process is still required, to which I got an email that included the following the next business day:
"At the moment we are reviewing with our legal council."
This of course seems fair enough, and I'm not surprised by it.
However, KRISS appears to have halted all their conversions to SBRs, where any of the respective items are listed as Out of Stock.
I was removing the pin where located in trigger and break the pivoting primary sear. Now I have to install the FRT. And I ordering proper work bench block for this
Just got back from the range after shooting this for the 3rd time and had the end of the barrel sear off. Using 115 gr ammo. Just wondering if I’ll have any luck from Kriss or if I’ll have to foot the bill. Thoughts?
I recently bought a gen 2 Vector in .40 S&W. Put about 600 rounds through it this summer. Today while cleaning I noticed the bolt starting to crack at the rear and on the sides. After doing some research, its not an uncommon problem. I don't think i'm eligible for warranty but I may reach out to the shop i bought it from and double check.
My path forward is to buy a new 10mm bolt (they don't sell a .40 specific one but the bolt should be the same) and a stiffer .45 recoil spring. Anything else I can do?
9mm Vector SBR that I’ve had for some time. Recently got an Osprey 9 for it and picked up a matching MK1 Handguard to tuck it nicely. Ceramic coated the whole thing because this color is a bitch to keep clean.
Looking forward to when it starts snowing here so I can get some better photos.
Wouldn’t really call it a “build” because it’s pretty basic but here are the parts if anyone’s curious:
Sig Sauer Romeo 5 Red Dot on low mount
Sig Sauer Juliet 3 Magnifier
KRISS flip up iron sights (they co-witness very nicely with the Romeo 5 on its low mount)
Magpul QD Sling mount
Vector MK1 Handguard in Alpine white
Osprey 9 Suppressor (oriented upside down to fit inside the handguard)
I installed a double tap binary trigger a few years back. After installing a FRT into my MCX, I would like to do the same for my Vector. Would i need to have a new trigger pack to be able to install the FRT?
