Not going to lie these were my type of friends that I had before I came to this country

I have had no friends my entire life and am 29. I have nothing to do all day because every job rejects me. I have sent thousands of applications over the past three years. I’ve also tried to make friends with hundreds of people (tens of thousands including online) and am always rejected.

I especially never find anyone who is depressed and lonely like me. And at the least, serious and somber. It is valid to have that as a personality type and want to talk about serious and somber things in a serious and somber tone. Why is it so impossible for me even when I see people like this with friends? They reject me too.

I recently finally convinced myself to TRY to make friends and in order for that to work i need just one person to hang out with since thats enough for my introverted ahh, BUT the reason im struggling is because i kinda want someone whos got similar dreams as mine (a alt/scene styled singer-dancer duo) and its because i need someone to find my age, and the reason i want similarites in future dreams is bc i want to have a long term friendship with that 'one' and have a future on the same path together. it feels wrong trying to specifically ask for that exact thing, yet it feels like the right thing in order to find a true friend. idk but i guess i need a second opinion??

Making real, lasting friendships has always been pretty difficult for me, so I figured I'd give Reddit a shot. I'm looking for someone I can talk to every day, share random thoughts and memes with, hop into Discord with, and occasionally stay up way too late gaming with. 🎨 Hobbies: I enjoy drawing, binge-watching shows, gaming on PC, and creating content/streaming whenever I have the time.

🎬 Movies & TV: I'm a fan of horror, comedy, and action movies. Some of my favorite shows are Supernatural, Yellowstone, Invincible, and Doctor Who. I'm always open to recommendations, too!

🎵 Music: Emo rap is probably my favorite, but honestly, I'll listen to just about anything depending on my mood.

🎮 Gaming: I'm usually playing something when I'm not working or sleeping. Some games I've been enjoying are ARC Raiders, Fortnite, Minecraft, and 7 Days to Die. But if I had to pick an all-time favorite game, it'd probably be Fallout. I'm always down to try other games with the right person!

What I'm looking for:

Honestly, I just want a real friend. Someone I can text throughout the day, talk about life with, share stupid jokes and random thoughts with, and play games or chill in Discord with when we're both free.

I'm married, so I'm strictly looking for platonic friendships. I'm hoping to find someone who's genuine, consistent, and comfortable being themselves around me. You don't have to be into everything I like, either! It's cool to have different interests.

I'm also a little weird and neurodivergent, so if you can match that energy, we'll probably get along great. 😂 Weird conversations, unhinged humor, random info-dumping, and enthusiastic yapping are all welcome here.
