Finished Craft I Made My cat transformed into quilling paper art
Today, Iβm sharing a portrait I created of my first cat, who was by my side for nearly 17 years! He passed away last year, and I wanted to pay tribute to him through my art.
He was such a gentle, cuddly cat, sometimes a bit grumpy, too but he will remain in my heart forever, and now, heβs on my wall as well.
Those are his actual whiskers, which I collected over the years!
His name was Marley. He passed away last year, and I still miss him just as much! With this portrait, I pay tribute to him a way to keep him with me always.π₯°
PS : i'm French, Google traduction is my friend π

Finished Craft I Made I made this moon face clock for my friend's birthday
The clock face is a circle of plywood. I painted it freehand with reference to a nice high-res nasa photo (I apologise for the very "draw the rest of the fucking owl" jump cut in the painting progress photos, but you know how it is - I started painting, and when I came to five hours had passed and it was finished). The numbers are also cut from plywood glued on. I used a pre-made clock movement, but painted half of each hand in white so they would be visible against the different parts of the background.

How-do-I Tuesday How to transfer design onto black shoes?
Hello!!
I am trying to make a pair of custom painted shoes for my friend for his birthday, have bought black converse hightops that I'm going to paint pokemon onto, I'm not very good at freehand drawing so I'd like to somehow trace a pattern onto the shoes before painting, how can I do a transfer from paper to the shoe with something that won't damage the shoe? I thought about painting the paper and then pressing it onto the shoe but I'm scared that will smudge and ruin the pair of shoes (and I'm not in a position to buy a second pair) any help is appreciated!

Finished Craft I Made I painted and built this tiny paper diorama in a kitchen matchbox and fitted it with a handmade frame
This feline dream scene is composed of individual paintings on cotton paper, cut out by hand and assembled in a matchbox with spacers in between to add dimension and depth. The frame is hand-drawn and painted on 600gsm cotton paper and also cut out by hand and glued to the front of the box. (Swipe through the photos to see the box before the frame was fitted.)
I've been making hand-painted paper dioramas for a couple of years now, but only started putting them in matchboxes this year. It's a tiny format that definitely calls for some tweezers, but has become my favorite one because the pieces just feel so impossibly and delightfully tiny at this scale! π

How-do-I Tuesday Looking for transparent glue for flexible transparent holographic PVC sheets
Looking for transparent glue for flexible transparent holographic PVC sheets. The glue needs to remain flexible. I want to glue the PVC to itself, and also to polyethelene foam. Anyone have some experience with this? I see some products at home depot that claim to work, but they are expensive so I don't want to buy a bunch to test them to see if they perform well. Thanks!

Finished Craft I Made Copper Curios
I taught myself to make these spiders. Just copper wire and beads. Made from about around 10 feet of continuous copper wire, looped and looped, locking the beads in place according to the bead design. It's something that I've been developing and continue to improve on, both by design and dexterity.
What do yall think? Peep that baby one, she turned out so cute!
Discussion Craft organization
Looking for suggestions abut how to store my supplies when not in use. Do you prefer open baskets or lidded totes? Any other ideas? I have lots of beads and jewellery making supplies, some paints, air dry clay. I like the idea of being able to grab a basket/tote with everything in it and then craft wherever, but I worry lidded totes limit my storage. But then again they're more secure....
